I bought one a month ago. Sound was great, button layout was ok, anc is competent, they fold which is travel friendly, the app was good, microphones were better than in momentum 4s and ankers q45. I thought they'd be a keeper until I realized that when walking the headband is squeeking like crazy. After 3 attempts I packed them up and returned them, such a shame they couldn't get the plastic quality right, even if a slight price increase would be needed.

He means the top head band and then the case you get with it. This forces it open a bit more and would reduce the tension of it applying pressure. Or at least in theory this would reduce it.
Nice review, just bought this 950 on this last sale, because I really like the 820 and use it more than the XM4 or the Anker Q30, just miss the shortcut to open the mic holding a hand over the cup.
Hello, may I know why you use the edifier more than the sony and anker? Does it sound better? I just ordered the w820nb plus since I can't exactly spend more for the 950, I hope it's not disappointing cuz it's still a lot of money for me 😬

Not quite as good, but almost and for the price difference it's worth it unless you want better highs. The Sony's are more detailed in high frequency reproduction.
This over-ear design certainly beats the in-ear design for ANC. These are better than the 1More SonoFlow I find which is a similar but cheaper pair I reviewed.
Do they really have 6 microphones in total (3 per side)?, because all other reviews i've seen for these headphones said that they have 4 microphone (with enc and all those good features)... ...even though, the microphone test sounds pretty darn good, if only a bit quiet; plus it seems that the Ambient/Transparency mode is rather competent.
Yes one at the bottom, the outer and then and inner I can see. The mics are good from my test it was recorded straight into my video editor like always. I think for the price point they are damn good, my only nitpick is the highs could be a little more crisp and more detailed. Tweaking up the high freqs via an EQ a little really improved it and I know that these are keepers for me. I can't wait to use them on my next flight for the ANC and tune.
Nice review. Can someone who owns these confirm whether the ANC is available when using the 3.5mm wired connection please? i.e. when watching inflight movies on a plane.

Youre not gonna see balanced armatures in headphones. Theyre very small and for efficiency, they have to be very closely coupled with the ear, which is why you only see them in use in iems.

Completely agree. The treble sounds a little artificial compared to bass and mids.

Waiting review for LS880NB PRO, bought it in China last week. Looks same, but it’s new version.
Rest the headphone spread across the case itself to prevent the headphones from flexing in, this reduces the head pressure.
Very good tip there thanks!
