Speaking as a big fan of this show, and as an Israeli-born American, I don't think many people understand what it's like to live in a country surrounded by enemies that has almost been annihilated several times. Israel has just as much a right to exist as any other country. It has a right to defend itself. With that said, criticisms and discussions of Israeli policy are fair game. Israel is a democracy.
