  • Welcome to my channel! In this special Bakra Eid episode, I am bringing you a mouth-watering recipe for Masaledar Handi Kabab. Celebrate Eid-ul-Adha with this rich and flavorful dish that perfectly combines traditional spices and tender meat.
    Bakra Eid Special: Masaledar Handi Kabab Recipe!
    Ingredients:
    For Kabab:
    Beef mince: 500g
    Onion (chopped): 1 medium
    Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp
    Salt: 1 tsp or to taste
    Coriander powder: 1 tbsp
    Cumin powder: 1 tsp
    All spice powder (Garam masala): 1/2 tsp
    Black pepper: 1/2 tsp
    Chilli flakes: 1 tsp
    Turmeric: 1/4 tsp
    Green chilli (chopped): 2-3
    Lemon juice: 1 & 1/2 tsp
    Green coriander (chopped): 2 tbsp
    For Gravy:
    Oil: 1/2 cup
    Onion (chopped): 1 large
    Tomato (Puree): 4-5 (Blend and strain the tomatoes )
    Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp
    Salt: to taste
    Kashmiri red chilli: 1/2 tsp
    Red chilli powder: 1 tsp
    Turmeric: 1/2 tsp
    Coriander powder: 1 tsp
    Cumin powder: 1/2 tsp
    All spice powder 1/2 tsp
    Yogurt: 1/2 cup
    Instructions:
    Preparing the Kababs:
    -In a large bowl, combine the beef mince, chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, all spice powder, black pepper, chilli flakes, turmeric, chopped green chilli, lemon juice, and chopped green coriander.
    -Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
    -Put this mixture into Refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
    -Then take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round kababs (flat discs or cylindrical shapes).
    Cook Kababs:
    -Heat 1/2 oil in a wok over medium heat.
    -Fry the kababs until they are golden brown on all sides and cooked through. -This should take about 3-4 minutes per side.
    -Once cooked, remove the kababs from the wok and set them aside.
    Preparing the Gravy:
    -In the above remaining oil add the chopped onion and saute until golden brown.
    -Add ginger garlic paste to the onions and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
    -Add tomatoes puree to the pan.
    -Add salt, Kashmiri red chilli, red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, and cumin powder.
    -Cook the mixture until the tomatoes water dry and the oil starts to separate from the masala. This should take about 10-15 minutes.
    -Add 1/2 cup of yogurt to the gravy, stirring continuously to prevent curdling.
    -Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the gravy is well blended and thickened.
    Add Kababs to Gravy:
    -Gently place the cooked kababs into the gravy.
    -Add one cup of water.
    -Cover and simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes, allowing the kababs to absorb the flavors of the gravy.
    Garnish and Serve:
    -Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, naan or paratha.
