  • Japa meditation is a great way to get into meditation for beginners as it gives you something tangible to focus on, and keep your mind from wandering off easily. There are stages to Japa meditation, so for those who practice it already, perhaps you'll find this video helpful in taking your meditation practice further.

As per Advaita Vedanta (Philosophy of non duality) initially there are three.
      A) The worshipper B) The act of worshipping C) The one who is worshipped.
As we proceed , we merge our mind in the act with such intensity that there remains only one.

Thank you, but need to know what to repeat. This info not useful without knowing how to do it. Follow Divine Mother ... What do I say?

Hi Douglas:-) It is not for me to say what words/mantra you should use as they are very personal. I suggest looking into different ones and picking one that you resonate with the most. I have several that I use on different days or at different days depending on how I feel or what I'd like to cultivate in myself or my life. There are simple ones like OM, or Om Mani Padme Hum or the Gayatri mantra. There are many.. You can also use a sentence or affirmation in your own language. Namaste

Great video, but you're touching the mala beads with your ego finger, that's a big no no. I guess it's a personal choice without judgement
