      I have a conspiracy that chovy after his LCK matches are done, flies to china to play on JDG as "knight", and then back to korea for GENG. Must be tough playing for 2 teams at the same time

    If ShowMaker is Faker, then Knight and Chovy are Rookie. Analysts/Experts consider their play to be amazing, but casuals critique their lack of titles.

    • @proficient8305

      its always idiotic when peoples reasoning for a player being good is titles, for example anyone that watched bengi play knows he was never even close to a world class jungler yet alot of casual fans think hes one of the best jnglers ever. I mean ffs Looper won worlds... Titles are a nice bonus but shouldnt be the reason you rate a player so highly, Deft never won worlds until last year but he was easily a top 3 adc oat based on pure skill and performance before that. Chovy and Knight are arguably top 5 mid laners to ever play the game (faker>rookie>sm/knight/chovy/doinb/scout are all very close and depends what you value, imo chovy and knight edge the others on pure skill). Also if anyone replies saying pawn or fkn xiaohu i will off myself.

      @@proficient8305 I agree that titles are not a good way to evaluate a player. However I like Xiaohu. He was really good in top lane in season 11, and He was a very important part of RNG last year.

      @proficient8305 Рік тому +1

      @@ajd74 Xiaohu was a good top laner sure (around 3rd/4th in lpl) but he was nothing insane and frequently RNG would send Ming+Wei+cryin to help him vs stronger tops, eg he got ran by nuguri in spring finals. As a mid he's always been p good in spring but is one of the worst chokers to ever touch the game when it comes to worlds (godv/dade levels of bad), 0 joking with any other mid laner RNG would have won worlds 100% in 2017.

    I am a Knight believer, I feel like it‘s about time that the LPL finally gets a Midlaner to help them carry the summoners cup without importing a mid and I do genuinely believe that he has the biggest potential to break from the "chokers“ curse that they both have, Knight has genuinely had been playing with teams that didn‘t deserve him but Chovy losing on the superteam Gen. G. should be unacceptable.
    Ideally though I would love if they both end up winning worlds in the future and that they have an actually close rivalry when the oldguard of mids like Rookie and Faker retire

    • @鹦鹉-l8o
      @鹦鹉-l8o Рік тому +3

      lpl has become reliant on imports to win. at this point people should just embrace that lpl is an integrated league, rather than viewing imports in a negative light.

      I agree that Chovy underperforming was very sad, but Gen G. is largely a super team because of him. If you asked someone why Gen G is good, people would say: Because they have Chovy and Ruler, maybe peanut. Without Chovy doing good, is Gen G a super team yet?
