Architect Chin Yee Chong's design, the "Integration of Two", signifies Johor and Singapore's relationship and history, inspired by the concept of two hands holding each other by the wrists. Not really. The original plans by DS Najib/LHL was a rail track all the way to KL. Unfortunately mismanagement by PH and PPBM led PN reduced it to this.
@@GrumpX I thought these are two different projects in different parts of Johor? Rts at Johor Bahru arriving Woodlands, but HSR will go through JB west side Medini there then Jurong East.
@@HuixuanOrz Initial plan was a high speed rail from SG to KL. Then when PH govt took over, due to their incompetence, the plan changed to the current plan of LRT to JB only. Thats why they had to compensate the SG govt of hundreds of million for not fulfilling the original agreement. The same thing happened to the East Coast hispeed rail plan. Got watered down due to their financial incompetence. Initially the plan called for rail from KL to Kota Bahru. Changed to KL ppl need to take tpt to the train stn outside KL. The new route got less stops. Again a watered down version. Totally hopeless the PH govt.
@@GrumpX Oh I didn't know that. Original plan for HSR is to end at Kota Bharu, Kelantan? Do we have enough demand (ridership) to Kelantan? Or else it is just gonna be another white elephant project. I think KL - SG should be good enough. Who knows? They might revive that project again in the future.
@@HuixuanOrz Well a high speed rail for the east coast will have demand esp for those in the north who work in KL and even for SGreans who want to visit the northern states. Don’t confuse the SG-KL Hsr with the ECR. I hope there is still a chance for that after the next Msian elections with a new govt there but i wouldnt raise my hopes high.

There is a comment said there are many holes, maybe he didn't see the details. What I saw in the video the exterior is covered by glass facade, there shouldn't be any hole, the glass facade enable the clear view for Sun, Moon, Stars and Sky. Nice design and the hand-hold-hand spirit between the two cities is meaningful. With Singapore's partnership and the support/attention from Johor Sultan, I have the confidence the project can be completed on time. Looking forward to its operation 😘
After tremendous political agenda on this project, finally this project can be executed. I hope the maintenance of this infrastructure is well-planned too

They should have a public transport hub nearby (bus, taxi, etc) as Singaporeans can't bring their vehicles with them unlike the causeway.

The design is nice however the station plan is build near to the congested area, the drop off/pick up point are close to residential area! Meanwhile the route to RTS is same way for vehicle heading to CIQ. It’s will be more jam during the weekend! I think Malaysia project designer never utilised their brain to build a project adherent with current traffic flow! They only think the design only blindly want to fulfill or entertain the Royal and Islamic characteristics! Please consult Singapore Project holder idea or experience prior just blindly build and make people life worse with the jam!

Di Singapura tiada reban ayam tapi bekalan ayam mereka sentiasa mencukupi. Sdgkan di Malaysia begitu byk kilang ayam tapi ayam tidak mencukupi.
Singapura mereka tidak ada sungai seperti di Malaysia tetapi utk sumber minuman mereka tidak adalah masalah bekalan air dan juga air bersih utk rakyatnya.
Singapura tiada minyak seperti di Malaysia tetapi mereka menjadi negara ketiga terkaya di dunia sedangkan Malaysia negara yg kaya sumber minyak tetapi mempunyai hutang trillion ringgit.
Di Singapura penduduk yg tidak beragama mencapai 20% iaitu lebih tinggi dari penduduk Islam di negara itu yg hanya sekitar 13% tetapi negara mereka antara 3 negara terbaik di dunia dari rasuah.
Singapura penduduknya hanya 5.4 juta org tetapi berjaya mengatasi pungutan pingat Malaysia pada temasya Sukan Sea.

Banyak benefit untuk kedua2 negara. Itu semua sudah didalam rancangan DsN/BN dulu. Budget pun dah ada. Seperti juga rancangan rail dari KL ke Kota Bahru. Akhirnya apa jadi? Inilah akibat pilih kerajaan yg punyai pemimpin2 yg kurang kaliber.
