      have you seen Fujian white cranes final form? the beginning looks just like Tensho

      And Fujian Monk boxing or Louhan boxing form 1 looks similar to Seisan and hangetsu.
      ua-cam.com/video/Z_vVUpFlWFQ/v-deo.html
      And fujian Tiger boxing first form sanzhan looks like uechi ryu sanchin(sort of)
      Same fighting guard/claw hand and open hand spear fingers and tension-
      ua-cam.com/video/S-ZmzDOJP7c/v-deo.html
      pretty cool right?

    I studied Chinese martial arts for years & we had a form called San yie (3 units breathing) which employed breathing In your Tan Tien level along with dynamic tension repeating the movements 3 times as you move forward ( maintaining the tension) & ending with an explosive double palm hit & multiple knife hand strikes. ( Releasing all the energy at the end along with a loud Kia) During the tension our teacher would strike our bodies & push us in several places to test out balance & tension. ( Sorry for any misspelling)

    This should come with a warning dude. I'm a nobody. But the Original Sanshin Kata is not to be screwed with. Now I understand that Masters and even instructors are encouraged to play and come up with their own Katas. So here is my warning to anyone that happens on this. The original Sanchin/SanZhan kata forms can really screw you up. Back in the day you would ONLY learn Sanchin for about 3 years before learning anything else.. Some masters would only teach Sanchin Kata then followed by their own Katas. Breathing and proper muscle tension on this is a complete bitch. It really does takes years to get right. With out a proper instructor you will never learn it's secrets. Lastly, This is what we all do when no one is watching. So bravo for being brave enough to post.

      Yes, in the description I've attempted to 'warn' the viewer as to the nature of this particular video. I would like to add that the idea of learning Sanchin for three years with the exclusion of anything else is a skewed interpretation of the idea that - to be proficient at sanchin kata 'may' take three years of focused practice. By its very nature, to understand Sanchin, one must concurrently practice the junbi undo, hojo undo, kihon, etc.

    He visto algunas escuelas de Uechi-ryu inventando versiones de Suparimpei, argumentando que encontraron el kata perdido que Kambun Uechi aprendió, pero que nunca lo enseñó.

    Goju kata is a language unto itself. Once you understand the A,B,C's, how to form words, words into sentences, sentences into paragraphs, and paragraphs into a story, it really doesn't matter what "shape" or "form" the kata takes. I believe that is what you are showing us here sir...well done!!! OSU!

      @@GKCgoju the basic techniques like striking below the ribs, trapping and a mawashi uke variant looks the same. The execution changes. Maybe taichokun sanchin, and San ti shi are the original. Taichokun was the progenitor of the crane styles of south. Also look at chow gær first form.

    No, this is not the original kata. Some of your movements are similar but you are missing quite a bit. Also the kata moves forward and does a 180°turn to face opposite starting position. At no time does it turn and move left or right from starting position.

    • @GKCgoju
      @GKCgoju  3 роки тому

      It sounds like you’re referring to the turning version of Gojuryu’s Sanchin kata which is in itself a modification of an earlier version. If you read the description of the video you will understand what the video is actually about.

    Interesante fusión de sanchín con superimpei. La respiración variaría considerablemente comparado al sanchín aprendido por mi, tendría menos ibuki y exhalaciones más standard. Se ve más aplicativo que ritual también, con sus pro y contras.

The star simply pulled out his gun, shot him once and killed him. All those years of learning and practicing were over in a second. Which impressed me even more.
