Room type: Japanese-style room with a river side view
This is a purely Japanese-style room that retains as much as possible the skills of the successive generations of craftsmen who were involved in the construction of the main building, Kosekiya. The modern Akarimaki-shoji screens, which provide both light and design, and the beautiful design of the braiding are the same as those used in those days.
It is a registered tangible cultural property that will be reopened in 2022. All-inclusive, all-you-can-drink during your stay!

My friend was there not too long back and showed me photos of the massive snowfalls he encountered as it was meters deep everywhere on rooftops the ballustrades and they had to clear the walkway areas for people to move around. I was so jealous. Beautiful place exquisite Inns and food to die for. Thanks for sharing this wonderful adventure. Bushyboy Oz.

For those prices, that stay is well worth it! The food looks gorgeous and the black bathing area was fascinating to look at.
I also grew up and still live in a place it doesn’t snow: Orange County, CA. Whenever I go to the local mountains in winter or when I went to Colorado last January I got excited when I saw snow. Also, it is so funny how Americans don’t use umbrellas in the snow like Japanese people do.

The bento was purchased at Tokyo Station before boarding the train. This time, Ginzan Onsen is located in Yamagata Prefecture. And the bento that Mr. Solo Solo Travel and I bought this time is produced in Yamagata, using Yamagata beef👍.

I love the river, as well I It looked like a programme on the television about CHINA. Yu Nan Province had a river like that, that also flowed between such beautiful buildings!

일본여행을 좋아해서 항상 재밌게 보고있습니다. 일본어는 숫자정도나 하기에 한국어 자막을 켜고 보고있습니다. 요즘 한국어 번역 퀄리티가 아주 좋아졌습니다. 초반의 약간 어색한 한글 자막덕분에 재밌는 표현들이 참 많았었는데... 물론 또하나의 발전이기에 개인적으로는 아쉽지만 재밌게 잘 보고있습니다. 감사합니다. 앞으로도 좋은 영상 계속 부탁드립니다

銭湯の露天風呂でも、雪や雨の時に入ると気持ちいいので、本格やったら余計やと思います。
ご飯も日本旅館だけあって、綺麗ですね。
東北やと味付け濃い目やけど、どうでした？
然しどこでも、「おしん効果」か？こんな山奥でも中国人は居てるんやね。
最近は、マナーやモラル違反の輩が多いらしいし、観光業も儲けの裏返しの様ですね。
僕も見てて、まだ遊び方が”幼い”んやと思います。
ステータスと感覚・文化が、合ってないんでしょうね。
僕個人の好みは、１泊目の方です。

You should definitely come to Ginzan Onsen in winter. It is very difficult to get a reservation for lodging, but it is the best view. Relatively close to Yamagata Airport✨.
