    Our Equipment we use:
    * CAMERA: Capture high-quality footage with the Sony A6100* For recording review footage, we use our phones: OnePlus7t & Huawei p30 Pro
    * MICROPHONES: For clear audio, we use the At2020+ (Discontinued, so you can get a great deal now: amzn.to/3MRHxo3). If you are looking for their most up to date mic, check out this one: amzn.to/3BRFJ8n.
    We also use the very affordable Comica VM10 with our phones: amzn.to/3IzItL1
    * KEY LIGHTS: Our lighting is… creative. For key lights we use a couple of living room lamps (amzn.to/43qUtXg), plus a hanging toggle light. We recently started to change over to 2 Neewer brand lights. Check them out here:
    * COLORED LIGHTS: Colored lights are 2 x 20watt LED flood lights. Not available, but similar to these ones: amzn.to/3IGhugZ. The long upright light in the back is also discontinued, but here is a better, cheaper one: amzn.to/43r6lIQ

    I have had mine for years now. Absolutely love it! They are also weather proof, which is a huge plus. Mine never comes out of the window, except to clean in. I am currently researching the best way to do that.

    The instruction manual says For Horizontal Installation Only, have you had any issues with it being installed vertically?

    • @Reviewsby2playermode4ever
      @Reviewsby2playermode4ever  Рік тому +5

      Great question: no we've had zero issues. Our guess as to the reason is that there is no edge or lip along one edge that would help secure it in. It's very secure as is, but that's our best guess. No issues at all, but maybe if you had little kids who might yard on cords, you may want a different option. We're still really enjoying it ☺

      The reason they are for horizontal installation is because the bearings are not designed for the axial loads placed on them when the fan is installed vertically. Pretty sure the bearings will destroy themselves quickly when the fan is placed vertical.

      @@cell21633 interesting, I didn't find that info anywhere in my initial reading up. So far no issues whatsoever, but I'll be sure to make an update video if we have any issues. In the meantime, 🌬 ❄️🌪️🍃

    How did you get it to mount vertically?

    • @Reviewsby2playermode4ever
      @Reviewsby2playermode4ever  Місяць тому

      It is flat on the sides so it just sits there. We did eventually raise it up with one of the spacers that it comes with, but it's very stable.

      It's not a permanent fixture. We just pop it in and out as needed. We also take it out when it's too hot outside.

    Would this work to exhaust a micro art studio with one window?

    • @Reviewsby2playermode4ever
      @Reviewsby2playermode4ever  6 місяців тому

      I would imagine so. It's quite strong. I suppose it would depend on the size of your studio and what chemicals you are using. I'm definitely not an expert in that.

      No issues at all to be honest. It does say in the manual it is only for horizontal, but we've had zero problems so far (few months). We love it still.

      @@Reviewsby2playermode4ever There is no rational reason why this (or any other fan) couldn't operate in a vertical position (as opposed to a horizontal position) other than manufacturers trying to reduce the number of use scenarios. I own a Xpower air circulator which is a great unit and super effective, but when I asked Xpower about regular maintenance (motor cleaning) they responded like I was trying to disarm a nuclear bomb from the second world war that I got in the box by mistake...utterly ridiculous.

      @@Reviewsby2playermode4ever Maybe they could it's hard to say, but you're not having any issues with it so far so keep up with the regular maintenance and use it the way you're using it now.

      @@malibustacy3606 Indeed. To be honest, were not doing anything special with it. Putting it in every evening, and taking it out on the hot days. Many days it just stays there. But I gotta say, we appreciate how much air it moves.

  • @malibustacy3606
    @malibustacy3606 11 місяців тому +2

    Need to cool down the house?.....don't mislead people, fans and air circulators don't lower the temperature of the air they're moving they just move it, and the air flow from these units makes the air feel cooler due to convection and evaporation.

    • @Reviewsby2playermode4ever
      @Reviewsby2playermode4ever  11 місяців тому +2

      Oh I certainly don't want to mislead people. Our house gets smokin hot and holds heat. We use fans to mave cool air from outside through our house to cool it down once the outside temp are lower than inside. So yes, we use fans to cool down our house, but you are correct that a fan is different than an AC unit. ☺

      @@Reviewsby2playermode4ever It's fans and air circulators for me, when I was younger the house couldn't get cold enough when it was hot outside but now at 63 air circulators are the perfect fix for hot weather...go figure.
