This must have been done by the electrician I hired. He said he was licensed in the state of Iowa but I doubt it.

The paddle fan boxes I can relate to but it's not really recommended to pigtail all the receptacles that's all preference and are you sure the wall sconces are in the bedroom weren't just covered up by the sheetrock you never really got into telling that one but hey keep up the good work

Thanks for sharing. I wasn't involved in the project so I trust my guys assessment of the missing box but 100% you are correct, we get them covered all the time, but 2 of them would be less of a chance. Can't use a device for the neutral feed through, that's why we pigtail. Appreciate you looking out

@@The360Electrician You can use the receptacle to feed the neutral through. The only time you can't is if more than one circuit uses that said neutral. This is purely a preference issue. Quality receptacles won't have a problem with this.

@@kentbanister1820 That's Correct. The reason we pigtail only is in our California locations we use 3 wire circuits all the time, whereas in Montana it seems it's less common. Since we train the same way and our system's are written to the higher standard so that we don't have to worry about what a homeowner, handyman or even an electrician who's not paying close attention may do later on. Our policy is to pigtail.

@@The360Electrician Always pigtail! Way better habit, it’s lazy not to, and you’ll thank yourself when troubleshooting later. You’re right in trusting your guys. I would not accept that argument if these guys commenting worked for me.

No money could pay me off to attempt to fix wires in concealed walls. My X ray vison stopped working. Previous hack could have dozens of illegal splices inside walls. You are no better then a prostitute if you pull a permit for another person. My best customer begged me to pull an electrical permit for his buddy that got nailed for not having any petmits after all the sheetrock was up & painted. Told him that I would only do a free inspection. Every switch box was undersized and jammed with too many cables. He paid some fool to get him a permit and a few months after opoening place burnt down. With so many ambulance chasing law firms they would go for you because of your necessary liability insurance that you carry. If place had a fire even if you not perform the work that caused fire.

We get asked a 1000 times, it's like giving your pin code if you do. DONT DO IT. Now charging to fix other people mess is no problem, you have to have solid paperwork like the one we have in our course www.the360electrician.com and you better be as detailed as a workers comp audit on exactly what you repaired and especially the areas and things you didn't. Coaching! Your all good 👍
