I've been wanting to upload a video on how I get rid of the brassy tones in my hair! I talk about three different products I use and how I tone my hair.

I’ve never seen anyone do this with both purple and blue shampoo. I was just thinking that I needed to use different tones because I have lighter ends and I found you!
Thank you so much for this video! I have a side of my hair in silver now and was looking for a new toner shampoo. Definitely gonna try out the Fanola, the pigments on both shampoos are probably the best I've seen around.
Patty I definitely recommend Fanola it is the best I’ve ever used. I found them thru Instagram haha. Walmart now has 2 day shipping too. If you want that piece in your hair to be more silvery then put it on your hair dry and leave it on 20-30 min. Then go in afterwards with a conditioner that is sulfate free so it doesn’t strip it out. 😎😎
Cant believe I finally found someone with dark brown hair that does highlights and explained the blue and purple shampoo. I am a dark brown also and do my own blonde highlights as well and after seeing this and doing what she did with the blue and purple shampoo it made such a difference on my hair. Thank you so nuch!!

You’re very welcome ❤️ I just cut off my ends that were super light and have been using only the blue shampoo and it’s been working great! I have medium blonde hair and I’m naturally a brunette and the blue shampoo works better for me.

I'm just trying to keep my highlights from fading over time hair starts looking less highlighted hair stylist recommended matrix brass off but it's just the conditioner reading to use shampoo too but was thinking to mix purple with blue conditioner or ask why suggested just the conditioner ..my hair did get way more healthy recently yet she did say only use once if can use every 2 she came off as iffy for me to use ..sulfate free and parabean free has worked as far as helping my straw looking hair go back...feel I should try shampoo with it... thanks was searching and this helped big time
I haven't tried those shampoos but DEFINITELY give BOLD UNIQ a try!! I found it on amazon and it works better than actual toner for my hair!

Hiii ty for the video. Do you use the purple and blue at the same time? Or one wash you do blue and then the next wash you’ll use the purple? I’m going to buy both shampoos as I have a blonde brunette balayage on dark brown hair and am not sure what order to use them
I just use the purple or blue hair mask they highly pigmented and conditions ur hair at the same time.

Do you do no orange all over even ends and rinse out then just do ends with no yellow?? OR do u completely separate the shampoos blue top/purple ends???
How often do you leave it on for and how often do you use thr purple shampoo?
Your link goes to the No Orange Blue Mask. How does that work compared to the No Orange Shampoo that you're talking about? It seems the reviews aren't that great for the mask. And it seems Walmart Canada doesn't carry either the mask or shampoo.

Hiii!! I just ordered the fanola blue and purple shampoo and purple shampoo mask because I didn’t know which was better lol, but i want a super silver color even if it turns lavender that’s fine, but I don’t know if my hair needs the purple shampoo or blue shampoo so I was thinking of mixing them and leaving it for an hour, but I don’t want blue hair. Do you recommend leaving the blue shampoo for 5 minutes then the purple shampoo for an hour??
Mariam Zaia Hi!! Since the Fanola shampoo is only a toner and not dye it might not turn super silver like you want it too. But it will definitely get rid of all the brassy tones. I’ve left it on my hair for 45 minutes so you should be fine. I only wouldn’t recommend if your hair is very damaged and thin. If you are naturally a brunette do the blue but if you are naturally blonde do purple. If you have a mix of both then do the blue and purple. I hope this helps ❤️💙

can I skip the shampoo and use the conditioner right away? will this do the same job?
wiem zgolli no the shampoo has more purple pigments in it which will really tone the hair.. but if you wanna just slightly tone it and condition your hair then yeah just go in with the conditioner :)

That John Freida purple shampoo contains sulfates though....so 🤷♀️
Your hair looks medium brown, not dark brown. This video was helpful. Thank you! It seems I need blue shampoo. However, I saw another video of someone with darker hair using the Frieda one and her hair was noticeably toned down.

No I've never used the Pravana one! but I just looked it up - it looks really good. I think it depends if you have more yellow ish or orange ish tones. If you have more yellow ish then go for the purple but if its more orangey then blue would be better.
If I send you a pic of my hair right now will you please tell me which one you think I should get because I feel like the tone is a mix of yellow and orange and I am just not sure which would be the best choice to get the more light cooler color.

Chantale Wizman the best way for me to explain it tho is if you are naturally brunette go with blue and if you are blonde go with purple or if you have very very light blonde highlights than do the purple 💜💙 but yes feel free to send me a photo on IG: @beautybydreav

Chantale Wizman yeah I think the purple no yellow is better then. I have really light hair at the bottom and the purple works amazing for me. I also like to do it when my hair is dry lol idk why I think it works better and I leave it in for like 30 min
Just bought the John Frieda shampoo and conditioner but I’m scared my hair will go purple have you used the shampoo and conditioner together? If so does it leave a purple tone or just make it more whitey blonde? Xx
Jess Young the John Frieda doesn’t leave a purple tone it’s more gentle. It’ll tone it and give you a vibrant light blonde. The only one I talked about that might make your hair purple is the Fanola brand

Hi Lizeth!! I am glad you asked that I always just get the shampoo so I did not know much about the mask. But I looked more into it and this link was helpful: salonguys.com/products/fanola-no-yellow-shampoo-mask
Basically, it says: The Fanola No Yellow shampoo contains a specially formulated intense violet pigment that tones the hair to give it that ice, ash look. The Fanola No Yellow Mask is formulated with a special violet pigment that neutralizes undesired yellow reflections. It also seems like the mask is more conditioning.
I think I actually might try the mask now since I usually just want to neutralize the hair and it seems like the mask does that PLUS making it soft and silky. Whereas the shampoo might be a little harsher for the hair but might give it that icey ashy look (with multiple tries).
I use the Fanola No Orange Shampoo and I read and researched them all first and many said it was drying and I already have dry wavy thick hair so I also bought the mask, I did order from Amazon and it works brilliantly to tone the orangey brightness away, I am a brunette naturally so I suffer with the orangey tones coming through especially in the Summer when the sun bleaches my hair even more, hope this helps x

@@beautybydreav7552 The mask is a sky blue, it's quite pale compared to the deep pigmented shampoo, I don't think it would tone very well on it's own but it is very rich thick and moisturising after you use the shampoo, I have just done mine today I left the shampoo on 20 mins and then used the mask left that 10 mins I also use oil & styling cream when I blow dry cos my hair gets very dry especially in Summer, good luck with it take care x

The conditioner doesn't work in any lines. You need a hair mask. It dosnt even do anything anyway to be honest
