As a long time camper the mesh fruit bags you hung from the cabinets are wonderful for taking your bathing items and clothing back and forth to the bathhouse. by the end of your first camping trip you'll realize that the bathhouse is so much nicer to take a shower in than in your tiny cramped camper. mesh bags are great because when you have your wet rag and your wet towel and everything else to bring back to the camper the bag it dries super fast. Just make sure if you take your toothbrush, toothpaste, and hair accessories to the bath house to put those in a smaller container so they don't fall through the holes. Want me to pick a campground I make sure the first thing I check is how the bathhouses are laid out. If it's laid out is one big building that's open with showers that just have shower curtains I won't camp there. If there's individual shower rooms that normally have a shower a toilet in the sink with a locking door those are on my wheel camp at list. And I am that person who keeps a spray bottle of clorox cleanup in my bath bag along with shower flip-flops and will not shower without them. I also try and time my showers right after the cleaning crew cleans the bathhouse for the day.
Normally I plack all our cloths in a hamper and then put the clothing weight in the camper when we get there. Then I placed the empty hamper in the tiny shower in the camper bathroom. That way all the dirty clothes and towels etc are out of the way and I can close the curtain so they are out of sight as well.

Are use pool noodles in my cabinets and I cut them to size in front of the items inside the cabinet and then close the door that way the items inside do not move around when traveling, I also put pool noodles on the closet rods inside the closets so that the coat hangers will not fall off the rods when traveling, when we return from my trip we empty out our RV completely except we store our linens in an airtight container under the bed after they’ve been washed and folded we take all the food items out of the trailer, we do not store food in the boxes I have plastic containers with air tight tops that I empty the snacks cookies whatever it is in those containers after we return from a trip and I cleaned them out and put them back in the trailer where they belong, I went to the dollar tree and bought plastic containers with handles on them and they fit nicely in my cabinets and they’re easy to pull out to get items out of them I also use them in the refrigerator to store items and an in the freezer they’re very helpful to keep things separated, also it keeps things in the fridge writer for moving around when traveling, once we return from my trip we thoroughly clean and sanitize the entire RV, I clean the surfaces with a DIY cleaner which is vinegar, dishwashing detergent and essential oil’s which is peppermint, are use a large spray bottle and just fill the bottom of it with the vinegar next the water filter the top add about a teaspoon of dishwashing detergent and about 5 to 6 drops of peppermint oil, the peppermint oil essential oils will deter rodents and even insects. The main objective is to keep the RV clean and everything stored in airtight containers all paper goods in airtight containers. Our RV is stored in our backyard in an RV garage which is open on all four sides but I go into the RV periodically during the course of the year and check everything out in the trailer and wipe down the surfaces again with a peppermint oil DIY cleaner and vacuum and check in the cabinets and the drawers for any evidence of invasion of rodents or insects. Since we’ve been using this procedure we have had no issues with rodents and insects. We did have an incident about five years agoWith a rodent invade ding the RV and had to clean and sanitize the entire RV but since that time we have discovered the method we are using now and have no problems. Enjoy the life of camping we have been camping for over 45 years, we camped with our babies, and as I grew older they still love camping and they are all adults now

Thrift stores are a great source for kitchen utensils, sometimes names brands really cheap. Valances are a great size for camper window curtains. I have an abundance of assorted plastic Folgers coffee cans. They make great canisters that you can label.

I would paint over the original wallpaper in the cabinets and if you love the barhroom use a cleaner to brighten the walls back up and use it as a theme.
I'm a full time RVer in a 19' tt. I don't have nearly as much drawer or cabinet space. I took an old property marker stick, cut it in half, painted it and put cup and L hooks and hang most of what I use. On the wall behind it I mounted 2 basic coated metal spice shelves. I love your fruit holder, that's pretty cool!! I crocheted a short plant hanger with an acrylic dollar tree bowl and suspended it from a cup hook so it hangs just next to the stove's range hood. RVing is kinda like playing tetris. I learned the term blivet from some southern RVers. A blivet is when you cram 50 pounds of stuff in a 10 pound space LOL.
    Love from Montana 😍

I'm so glad I found your channel! My hubby bought me a camper so I could turn it into a GLAMPER about 4 years ago and I've searched on UA-cam off and on this entire time trying to just get a little inspiration/motivation and haven't been super successful until I found you! Mine isn't as old as yours {mine is a 1992}. We actually got it for $700 and there was NOTHING wrong with it!!! I'm only changing things because I want to decorate it a certain way! It's gonna be extremely girly! My actual style for our entire home AND the GLAMPER is like vintage shabby chic/victorian_ish with a little touch of country! However, out in the GLAMPER, I'm adding in more splashes of fun, "whimsy" colors and textures! Anyhoozie, thanks for sharing your journey! I'm looking forward to watching the rest of your videos! XO from TEXAS! 🤠 👑

I encourage you to consider getting a ToasTite (aka pie grill) for your camper. Making grilled meat & cheese sandwiches, individual fruit pies, breakfast sandwiches, etc over the campfire (or on a stove burner) will be a fun way to make more happy memories on your trips. I've never forgotten how much my sisters and I loved making little meals or treats with the one at my grandmother's cabin at Lake Tahoe. I bought myself one a few years ago and each time I use it, it makes me so nostalgic & happy. My bff and I like to make little creations out on the patio over the fire bowl when we've having a cocktail out there♥

Salami, provolone and pepperoncinis make the best sandwich...but I admit, my favorite thing to do whip up some peach pie filling in a pot on the stove using canned peaches, sugar, butter and a sprinkle of corn starch then make little pies using buttered cheap white bread. Looking great! I don't know if you have this on your list but water damage doesn't just come from the roof on vintage campers. There is butyl tape between the camper and the window frames that gets brittle over the years and leaks. You probably won't notice it until you are pulling the camper in the rain. You should plan on removing the window frames, scraping off the old butyl tape and reinstalling the windows with fresh butyl tape. While they are out you can inspect the window glass seals and operators. Those are jalousie windows and all of the hardware and seals are available new from Vintage Trailer Supply online.

Cute! But I would suggest not taking up the storage space for your apron and towels. Took them in somewhere to stop things from rattling while you're going down the road. I have my spare fleece jammie bottoms crammed in the microwave so that the glass turntable doesn't rattle and jump around. Things like that. We are in a class BV on now, but even when we had a little trailer and couldn't hear it, things still were bashing around. It's something like a 6.0 earthquake going on in your trailer the whole time you're towing it.
