I have a co-worker, whose father owned a gas station. He used to help out his father at the gas station when he was younger. He told me that sometimes people would poop in the sink of the rest room, which he would then have to clean. Something just wrong with some people.
Yeah, it's super gross and really inconsiderate when people do that! You would think that adults would know better

@@gingyrocka6039 hmm you could bring a bathrobe! I just used my towel and walked to and from the bathroom. Or you can also change in the shower stalls once you are done showering. Most people just walked to and from the bathroom with a towel and shower supplies!

Would you recommend those plastic hard shower caddy or mesh type? is there ledge in the shower stall or just hooks? Thanks! Great videos.
Thank you! Mesh type is probably better since they bend so you can save space! Depends on the dorm - some have the little bench areas and some just have the hooks. Hope that helps!
mesh for sure. They dry out better and you can hang them in your closet instead of having to put it on the floor too !
How big are the bathroom lockers in Clark Kerr? Could they fit a standard size shower caddy or would I have to place my caddy somewhere else?
They should be able to fit a mesh shower caddy! I had a plastic one so you couldn't squeeze it to make it fit.
Hello! I’m a Fall 2022 transfer student who has chosen to commit to UC Berkeley. May I ask this - do all showers in all residence halls have doors? I feel like I saw another video where there weren’t doors, but I’m hoping that’s not true…

Congrats!! From my experience, I want to say that all dorm showers should have separate stalls/doors and not just a curtain to close. Usually for shower stalls, you would have a small changing area before the curtain to separate the shower, so the water doesn't get out into the little change area. Hahaha ya don’t pee and poo in the shower 🤢 oh yeah, no mirrors in the shower stalls or anything, the only mirrors in the bathroom are by the sinks

I do not believe there are hair dryers. You would have to bring your own!

Is there door and lock to the shower ?
Yes! The doors to the showers have locks! So you lock them from the inside when you are using the shower 😁

I know this is weird but what about having to poop around other people in the dorms, I hate pooping in public, what do I do?
Maybe get a suite or personal bathroom style, it definitely costs more but for your comfort it’s worth or

Do the girls and boys go into the same bathroom?
Yes, there are all-gender bathrooms in all campus dorms and buildings. There are some single-gender bathrooms available, but mostly the bathrooms are all-gender.
Interesting subbed! Never been in one before but for your experience in a unisex one. But question have you seen like the both genders parts in there?😅 Sorry if it's akward question just wondering because I do feel embarrassed using one if I ever have to and there's no privacy
Thank you for watching! That's a good question and definitely probably something a lot of students are nervous about. I would say you are unlikely to see people's private parts purposefully in the bathrooms, most students change in the bathroom or would walk around covered with a towel. Most bathrooms that are all-gender should have doors that are floor to ceiling so people can't peek. After the first few weeks of school, people get used to sharing the bathrooms, so it's less awkward after that!
Do communal bathrooms have urinals for men?
Usually no! Just regular toilet stalls in the all-gender bathrooms

hahaha you could try to find a private bathroom that’s just the single stall rather than the regular bathrooms with a lot of stalls! 😂😅

Right hahaha you'd be surprised what you see as a RA - poop in the showers, hall, elevators.... very gross
