I'm buying one of these for a 3 day kayak trip. Hard coolers are too heavy so this looks like a great option. This constantly gets 3 days plus from it.

For anyone considering this cooler.. It does a great job of insulation,
but durability is major concern. My zipper has completely failed with
normal use, and one of the handles has ripped off just carrying it. It
has not been abused in any way, just used as intended. Engel will not
do anything about the zipper, which is a clear weakness. I would not
    buy it again..

Did my research as well and bought one. Holds ice longer than my buddies smaller yeti hard cooler. Made it 3 days with ice in 80 degree weather

Thanks so much Joe for this great review. For a while now I have been shopping around for a cooler. I did not want to get the big, heavy box type so this soft side looks like a winner. Yeah, somewhat pricey but the quality per your review is great, so its worth it. Much appreciated!!!

All the soft sided coolers I have, including my new wonder woman cooler get wet hence I had Joe vacuum seal the ice to prevent get car rental from getting wet). This cooler really impressed me with the ice retention and when Joe did his test and turned the cooler upside down.

Love having a great cooler. Here in Florida just about everyone keeps coolers in there auto 24/7

Hows the cooler after 5 years?

It's a terrible cooler and Engel support is very bad. The seams started to fail after two uses. The vacuum thing only last a few min before it leaks out.

How did you tear it up after 2 uses?

Here's a trick for you all. Add ice to your desire amount then add a average portion of table Morton salt. Salt will make the ice harder to melt.

Good info you guys. I am traveling to Florida specifically Orlando and Cocoa Beach. Any keto friendly restaurants you'd recommend? I already found out Wahlburgers is there so I'll be going there primarily. But if I get tired of it I'd like an option lol. Please help 😀

If you are in Orlando, there’s a fudruckers outside Disney just off I4. We usually get a 1 pound burger, no bun and then split it. The toppings bar has lots of keto options, just stay away from the cheese sauce, it’s loaded with carbs. If you check out our videos from when we went to Texas in February, you can see what we ate there

Thanks for this! I have a large hard side Yeti that I won in a work contest. I love it for car camping but have been looking for a soft side to accompany it. For longer trips I find I run out of room in my hard side by the time I get my food loaded...so there is no room for my drinks. I don’t want a bigger hard side because they are so darn heavy! What good is it if I can’t lift it into my car once I have it filled?
I know the cooler you are talking about from Costco...cause I bought the same one. It was terrible and I didn’t take it out in south Florida temps! I’m going to have to look into the Engel.
