    I really like @7:14 how changing the colors is done with thumbnails while the image is on the display, not buried in a settings menu. 🌈Seems like it strikes a good compromise for up close work without a macro lens. I noticed thermal cameras have strange "sticky" pauses during operation, why is that? 🤔 I wish there was a PC app for this too for bench work without requiring my phone being tied up. Maybe development is more costly. The device is so lightweight, you can put it on a tiny tripod without falling over the way it would with a heavy phone mounted. The wireless adds new versatility and future proof the product 📡

      Me too Paul..It's a great Gui and really intuitive to navigate. All functions are easily accessible and straight to the point. Many thermal imagers bury useful features in sub menus that don't always make sense. This was truly refreshing!

    I definitely like this trend for affordable but good quality thermal cameras. Was actually thinking of getting one for home repairs. But it always seemed silly to buy a $500+ camera simply to diagnose a microwave that costs $150 brand new. You, sir, are making it harder to resist the temptation.

    Why are the roads and one of the tree still hot coloured during the night? 🤔 Most detailed images though.

      We've been going through a heat wave recently with avg daily temps of 36-40C ..so it's still very hot at night and the tar on the pavement retains much of the heat.

    We need a WiFi version of this, so anything from a phone to a PC can use it, and no need for an app, just your browser. To be that big, and cannot use it on its own is a shame, could be shaped like a GoPro even. That oughta make it real nice!

    That is a nice tool. I really don’t like that you need the phone / app. As soon as something on the phone is not supported you have a paper weight. Thanks for the review.

      I think it can be a drawback for some but ultimately you're gaining alot of freedom. The design allows you to do alot that you normally would not be able to with a standard handheld thermal camera.

    How well does it work for detail work such as SMD components on a PCB?

    • @KeepOnTesting
      @KeepOnTesting  6 місяців тому +1

      Excellent for troubleshooting PCBs. The images are probably the most detailed I have seen yet. Using the tripod mount makes it truly hands free too so you can monitor any temp changes accurately.

    Hi. If you could add pcb testing to thermal camera reviews. As alot of ppl watching your reviews will be electronic guys.

    Nice, but $700 Cdn! That is more than the FlukeI would think a device that uses a cell phone should be cheaper. If I get a full refund for the crap antenna tuner BangGood sold me, I might finally buy a thermal. The Mustool is

      Currently 450 CDN tax in with Amazon.ca coupon. Still its not inexpensive but I believe it's worth every penny. Either way..let us know which thermal cam you eventually get and give us some feedback if you can 😉 👍
