That is way before KUKtivision acquired them. They were ALWAYS sell outs, there used to be (more than a decade ago) an interview with Bill Roper (part of Diablo 2 & Bli$$ North staff) explaining it all. They were ALWAYS looking out to sell . And they fired B-North because their vision of Diablo 3 would have KILLED World of Moroncrapt
@@volf3r505 Yeah they prefered to kill diablo`s grimy and grim world and utterly destroy the lore. Despite being forgotten, Diablo 3 has a piss poor story and lore.
That's why it was such a brilliant move by Hideo Kojima to impose his name on top of the game box.
Sony was too dumb to understand it immediately made Kojima the brand itself, on the level of a Spielberg.
