Fine score, well done. Forceful were it needs to be; his gentleness was amazing. Just like Cromwell, and Khartoum, he could write for any era films.

Mosquito Squadron is what one would call a typical 60's war-movie. Not a highlight of film history for sure, but its score is, indeed!
Frank Cordell, a name that stands (besides for great Jazz-arrangements and recordings) for top-quality film scores. Strange that his name is not often mentioned. His score for Khartoum reminds unforgettable.
And we may use this chance here, to salute Cordell's music once again. Enjoy!

Old but good memories, I remember watching this movie almost every afternoon when I was 6 or 7, one of my favorite war movies. Love the soundtrack. Many thanks for the upload

One comment that NEEDS to be here is that Frank Cordell's music for this particular movie has special authority in that he himself flew Mosquito missions in WWII.

I've never been a big fan of Frank Cordell's music but from listening to this score he was a genius compared to the hacks who have taken over Hollywood Film Scoring these days. Thanks Fred for uploading the beautiful score. Out.
