I think removing the captaincy from Mings was a massive cockup. To then drop him and Watkins is even more of a cockup. Gerrard is in danger of turning the dressing room against him. Does he understand that some of the players may not be happy with decision on Mings? i personally didnt see anything wrong with his captaincy. He also seems to forgotten that his team were playing well last season when Nakamba was protecting the back 4. The minute he got injured,,It was downhill. He is a vastly superior defensive midfilder than Douglas Luiz. Bring him back, play Watkins alongside Ings,and dont play Coutihno wide,, you are wasting his creativity.
