Dear Kevin, Hindus never said the earth is round. But ancient "Rishis" (I call them real scientists) had said that the shape of earth is like an egg. Modern scientists with their sophisticated instruments have found out it is true.

I don't know Suhel personally to defend him. It's the principle of live and let live that I'm "defending." Far too many Indians make an issue out of nothing. We are an oversensitive and emotional people. A lot of petty things seem to bother most people, while bigger, more pressing issues of national importance go unnoticed, for the most part. We must learn to respect and accept all types of people and individual personalities without even thinking of imposing our way on them. Commenting and imposing are two very different actions.
