He was made to rules the waves across the seven seas... To lead the war machine... To rules the waves and lead the Kriegsmarine... The terror of the seas... The Bismarck and the Kriegsmarine ! For battlecruiser Hood : Ohoh... *Boss theme activated*
1:33 sends chills up your spine. It masterfully encapsulates how big of a force the Bismarck was Sure it sank quick but the amount of fighters and cruisers needed to sink it was immense. I can visualise it now, 1:33, iron clad monster sailing out of the straits into the North Atlantic Sea striking fear into all. Every captain disgruntled, "We're in for a hell of a fight"
it might've sunk fast, sure. but it wasnt due to any of the shells or torps. in fact it was the crew that scuttled it. Bismarck was a beast, none can deny that. she took a fight against 6 battleships and a bunch of other ships! while losing oil, and her rudder was stuck. The bismarcks crew was brave and cunning. I do believe none of the shells or torps penetrated her armor!
Beautiful! I'm playing this when I get my Tamiya 1/350 Bismarck back in the works so he can lead my model fleet. Plus this cover feels almost like the power the Bismarck had
This just shows the majesty of this steel leviathan the drums sounding like it’s mighty guns the vocals sound as powerful as the ship’s bow carving through the waves this ship should be respected and this version of the song sounds like the Bismarck is the actual king of the ocean as it should be!
Funny you say that because I'm running a modified D&D game set in our world in modern times and my players are up against the ghost of the Bismarck. Like the vessel is a ghost ship attacking english shipping as well as materializing as a ghostly officer with the ship as an extension of himself.
"Behold the Bismarck! It has the most advanced and modern targeting system for both the main guns and the AA batteries. It also has one the best turning radius out of all battleships. Not to mention the excellent armor belt and it's high speed. The only thing that could threaten Bismarck, other than the entire British fleet itself, is a direct hit on the steering system with a torpedo delivered by shitty-biplanes. But what is the chance of that ever happening?! Raise the anchor!"
If only this was on spotify🥲 Also I wish sabaton themselfs would make more soundtracks of their orher albums and not just the great war one. They should defenitly do that and take this man as example this was amazing!
Oh my...you really are amazing! I really love this one tooI hope one day you'll upload the "making of" video you talked about some time ago, Ii would really be fascinating to watch!
I think if someone were to make a movie of HMS King George and HMS Rodney fighting KMS Bismarck, this is the soundtrack that should play in the background.
I can picture this as HMS Hood and Bismarck battle and then again when Bismarck made her final stand to the british when we pounded her into oblivion in revenge for HMS Hood's death.
I'm running a d&d modern campaign and I'm pitting them up against the ghost of the Bismarck. And he wants to escape the Celtic Sea to raise a fleet of Kriegsmarine ghost ships but is being harried by the ghost of the HMS Hood.
Love it as always, you did a much better job on this song than I did a few months ago. :) Also, I've got a question: do you use an accord/ensemble-based library like Layers, or do you write every instruments on separately?
I make separate layer for each instrument, sometimes i double one layer to get a richer sound, like here, if you pay attention you can hear the sustains in the background played by violins and choirs!

@@epicscores8421 imagine sabaton making a sabaton cover version of their song tho.
Omg! This sounds like a epic soundtrack from an epic movie about Bismarck warship!
what HMS Hood heard moment's before disaster

I can proclaim this statement as true, even Hood could too, it’s way they hate the song =T
I just like how I just thought maybe there is an epic version of Bismarck and this was just uploaded today.
This piece of art sounds so amazing! I can feel the epicness!!! xd

Such power, yet with a sense of tragedy, looming in the shadow of the RAF.
It’s Bismarck day!
At last, m'lord. Long have I waited for this day.
These covers are criminally underrated. These are SO GOOD
