It's even cooler when you figure out that the Bismark fired a single volley at the Hood and several shots punched through ammunition depots, creating a gigantic fireball and splitting the ship in half; The battle literally stood still for a few seconds after that.

@@xenojedi2769 Even cooler but in a sad way is as the Hood sunk, the heat from the fires cooked off the rounds in one of the main turrets so it fired off one final salvo even tho the hull straight of the water.

BloodSurg I feel that it doesn’t have that slow build up that the original has. I don’t really like songs that get right into the song...however sabaton does do a good job at it.

I played a HOI4 Multiplayer as Germany. The host was a fan of nightcore. He was the UK and discovered I’d built 7 Bismarck-Class ships in the North Sea. He lost 2 Battleships, 7 cruisers, and countless destroyers as I played this through rhythm in his channel. Anyways keep up the work m8!

Oh God... So much love... For one song.. So many versions.
I think they stretched it with the line, " with the Allies on their heel".
Since it was mainly the British fleet. Along with a Polish destroyer that got in close. Signaled that they were a Polish vessel and opened fire.
You also had an American Coast Guard ship that was almost torpedoed by the first air attack on the Bismarck.
And a PBY Catalina piloted by an American.
That Polish destroyer didn't just open fire, she shot up Bismarck with everything down to light AA.

I dont usually like nightcore versions of Sabaton songs but gotta admit this one is amazing.
What i can respecs is whem nightcore doesnt just speed up the song. But actually makes the voice Believable. More of a death metal person but nightcore is nice sometimes. This is nice

Hood was a good ship just the bad design that really did it in
@@abluerx7371 wasnt even badly designed. Hood was a battleCRUISER, not a battleship, so her armour was thinner as a consequence. Even then, what happened to her was a result of extreme bad luck, a literal one in a million shot.
It's worth noting that the Prince of Wales, far smaller, was still able to fight Bismark and Prince Eugen for a while alone afterwards before having to withdraw. Hoods destruction would never have happened without that lucky shot.
@@AtheAetheling Hood was also an old ship in desperate need of a refit. After Mers-el-Kebir, she couldn't chase Strasbourg due to engine failures. However, her guns were still a match for Bismarck's. It was still a lucky shot that sunk her.
