My Amiga networking solution plugged into the external floppy drive connector using BNC cabling & terminators. I couldn't sacrifice a slot in any of the A2000s.
Maybe a dumb question… but why not just go Ethernet on all your machines? I know there’s the PlipBox for Amigas if one cannot find an old Amiga networking card (I use PCMCIA networking cards on my A1200 computers). I know there is Ethernet hardware for “classic” Macs too
Not a dumb question :). For everyday use, I've got Ethernet cards in most of my Amigas. I've been looking at buying a PlipBox for my Amiga 1000. These DoubleTalk cards are just a historical curiosity. If I can find the software/docs, I just want to see them working and see what the software for them looks like. There's not a lot of information out there on them.
This is generally good advise, but in this case the PP&S DoubleTalk card is the _ONLY_ LocalTalk card ever made for the Amiga...at least to my knowledge. So there aren't really any competitors. Also, it's not just the drivers, but also the the other software that was written for it. According to what can glean from old reviews and adverts, there was a complete and unique (i.e. not a regular TCP/IP) network stack bundled with these cards.

If the can't find the exact driver look for any competitor products with the same chipset. Pot luck but you never know.

Maybe time to write your own drivers! 😅
If only I had the time....maybe it's time to retire.
