Galvanize is very sticky material to clean off steel. Esp when it heats up from the friction from removal. Old school welder showed me a trick with wd40. Spray it on there, then use an abrasive tiger paw or something similar, and it'll come off 100x easier

that is galvanized metal gotta weld bare steel not the galvanized coating, that's why it wasn't working well.
I ground off the galvanized coating first but yeah my inexperience was evident
@@bliddicify Did you end up using it after it was painted I don’t think it would look bad.
