Great review. The 540 M Sport (and the 530 M Sport) are outstanding. Gorgeous cars. Sharp and classic BMW. Also very handy. Good size, great cargo room, great MPG, and the engines are very. very reliable/solid.

Great video. The 550 is close to a sleeper M5. In Australia our roads are heavily policed with hidden fixed and mobile radar, marked and unmarked police cars even aircraft. So a car like this can go undetected when you’re being sensible and save your spine with a softer suspension. The 540 has the same qualities.

I so wish we had the 540 down under. It’s such a good car!!! Another plus of buying a 5er in Aus is that If you spec it right you can pretend you’re an undercover cop 😂

great video, thank you. So i am coming off a 330i lease and am looking to upgrade. I am considering the Mercedes E350 love the comfort and size as i am 6 1". My issue with the BMW 5 series is there is almost no difference in cabin size compared to the 3 series? I like the drive of the BMW but would really like to have the additional comfort. Any suggestions really appreciated. THX
