What a genius Extra ordinary musician there will never be another Bryan ferry there will never be music like Roxy music I wish it starts all over again this world needs Roxy music
I had the pleasure of meeting him last year, he is looking good for his age.. he has a kind of aristocratic look about him more as he's got older with the grey hair and vivid blue eyes, and he still has all his charm and suave dress style!
Georgia Rose I also find that very interesting. When you listen to his works, even the few you may not care for, that are all so full bodied and polished. Bryan Ferry is a true maestro who's vision in music moves the soul. And then you add in his voice...?Wow
@@jessica5497 yes , but i expect Georgia Rose is a fan and expected his lyric to be primary, lots of people do that aswell. Roxy Music inspired so many bands, they were Art, Fashion, Music , avant garde at the time. Plus Brian Eno! 😁 a fine collection of individual artists. All pretty shy aswell and worked hard to perform in public initially. Ferry as arkward as hell but everyone saw this suave creature. Its interesting.
It really works both ways for him. I remember the story of him going to a vacay hideaway so he could think, he raced back to town with the lyrics done to 3 songs he had to find the music for. Think it was Manifesto or Fleah n blood albums. Oh Yeah Same Old Scene one other one. The lyrics had to be edited of course but it works both ways for Bryan it always has really. Interviews can be so misleading.
Effortlessly cool and highly articulate. Roxy created a new standard which inspired many different bands. Bryan inspired much of the New Romantic scene.
Yes someone had to do it so he really did. There’s soundtracks for different chapters. I have a sorrow n disaster soundtrack. A really make it happen soundtrack. A wistful nostalgia soundtrack. A getting ready to prowl Sat Night to its knees soundtrack. But Bryan ends up being apart of all those.
For someone who created such an iconic extrovert persona of cool and sophistication, it's clear after all these years Bryan Ferry is still a very reserved and shy man, talking quietly and rarely making eye contact with the interviewer. I'm sure that shyness must have often been misinterpreted as arrogance or aloofness.
@Andrew Ongais gee, im really grateful to grow up so fast; an amazing lift off and even more amazing re-entry...i shot my space gun and boy it really felt good because i was; ua-cam.com/video/KlvQ-28GVtk/v-deo.html
Thanks for the post! Bryan Ferry is a cool classy elegant gentleman rocker! I attended the Roxy music concert at msg nyc sept 12 2022 and it was wonderful! He is such a well spoken courtly gdntleman
I was mesmerised by Bryan Ferry thec1st time Roxy Music appeared on TOTP. I was 16 years of age. Fast forward to now. (2024) He's still mesmerising me.
Great to see a new generation appreciating Roxy Music. I first saw them on their first U.S. tour in 1972, with Eno. Their 3rd (Stranded) and 4th (Country Life) are the pinnacle of their creativity. Then work backwards from there to Ladytron song on their first album. After “Siren,” they transformed into the Bryan Ferry show, polished, but not as exciting or interesting as their first 4 albums.
He is still so gorgeous even now more than ever a very sexy man beautiful always had a sofe spot for him since 1979 i was 21) Marc bolan at 13) Brian connolly at 14) David cassidy at 14) David essex at 15) Rod stewart at 17) and Bryan ferry at 21) my 6 favourite artist 3 i absolutely adore and the other 3 i had a sofe spot for saw David Essex 3 times would love to see Rod Stewart and Bryan Ferry wished i had seen trex sweet and david cassidy but it wasn't ment to be unfortunately but 3 of my favourites are still alive thank god ❤️❤️❤️💖💖💖🎶🌹🇬🇧🙏
Better than Bowie? hmmm...that's a tough standard to measure up to. And one I'm not convinced of. Though they're both excellent and iconic beyond words, words don't suffice in either of their cases. I think it's reasonably arguable that Bowie's songs have in general terms been bigger hits and are known by more people globally, if it's fair to use that as a measure of sorts. But I'm loathe to compare them because I love them both so much that I would never DARE make such a comparison as to who is "better", because it's really pointless, and highly SUBJECTIVE:
These pretentious people are funny. If it's bottled water, anything less than Evian would be wrong! That and the Orange amp to show that you're knowledgeable about the 'cool era' in music. Useless wankers.

Bryan looks great for 70!! Thanks.

Paul UK Yeah he always did have that upper class look.
It has been a life long dream to meet him. Where did you meet him and what was he like?
Met him about 9 years ago,an absolute gentleman. He did not disappoint .The say you should never meet your idol .Not true.
Always had a soft spot for him, now I know why. He is still is so attractive
Very influential man, simply wonderful watching him perform very passionately....creative and beautiful human being....
Class icon that Bryan Ferry
Interesting that he composes music first, and later adds lyrics. Thank you for so many amazing songs, Bryan Ferry.
Georgia Rose I also find that very interesting.

A lot of artists do that

Effortlessly cool and highly articulate.
Roxy created a new standard which inspired many different bands.
Bryan inspired much of the New Romantic scene.
One of the most iconic frontman in all of R&R! Roxy has been the soundtrack of the better part of my life!

Classy humble talented enigmatic Bryan.
wow still so handsome😍😍
OH ABSOLUTELY❤
Such a talented artist with a James Bond level of cool, yet so modest & humble.

Bryan Ferry defines aging with dignity.
You can say that again. I hope I can get to look as good as he does when I'm his age
What a brilliant guy
I was mesmerised by Bryan Ferry thec1st time Roxy Music appeared on TOTP. I was 16 years of age. Fast forward to now. (2024) He's still mesmerising me.
Kiss and tell might be the greatest song ever . This guy will always be the top boss

awesome stuff... Bryan Ferry always had that classy look in his music / band ... not like today's bands most of them they look crap
Espantosas
Didn't see any ladies there.I would have been there. He just keeps getting better!
Once you've got talent, you can focus on being a thoroughly nice bloke
Why do the kings have to get old?

Kids today... sentence starts with 'So' then loads of 'Like'.... like.
It is SO disappointing that this was only 6 minutes long, I was really hoping for AT LEAST a 1 hour interview with that legend. . .
Unfortunately, we're not able to post the full interview online
Real cool-wish it wasn’t all chopped down. Would be great to see the whole thing🤷🏽♂️
I like the fact his manner is that of an artist - not a rockstar. Rockstars are out of reach.
wonderful Artist, his mannerisms remind me of Prince Charles
prince charles is a worthless, inbred, fucktard
brad gilker you are a piece of work, aren’t you,!
A true class act! This was way too short though
The one British artist of the 70s who was even better than Bowie

Hello!! Does anyone know what the music of this introduction? I´d like to listen it.
Yuri Weber "Love Is the Drug" by Bryan Ferry's band, Roxy Music. It's from their 1975 album "Siren."
Thanks Glenn page music!
Love is the drug
Yuri Weber :You really should listen to the whole album, one of my favourite roxy music albums.
@@markroberts1006 He should listen to ALL of Roxy's albums.
Pity they didn't get someone who had at least half a brain to interview such an iconic person.
Bryan sounds a bit like Raph Fiennes when just listening to this w headphones.
The best and sexsiest singer ever 😍😍😍
0:30 Music journalism course leader. Hilarious! Synonymous with no real musical talent.

Does he ever get sick of being called 'iconic'.
