- So I did not really know where to go, and because I had the Eskute Star eBike with me, I was inspired to ride around Alwen Reservoir. Wow, was it a nice morning! Photography is at its best when you're having fun, and using the little electric bike to get around just makes me smile.

Love Alwen. Lucky enough to live about 45 minutes away, so can pop up there easily if the weather looks good. Unfortunately last time I was there I totally lost track of time, and a quick visit to catch the misty sunrise before work turned into a six hour wander and an apology to the boss for taking an unexpected day off 😄
If you like your toadstools, come back in a few weeks and go up the near side of the lake. Right up at the top the path goes through some dense pine trees where the floor is just a wash of fly agaric

Yes it was! it was stunning..
The pink flowers are Rosebay Willowherb Paul. Usually designated a weed in the UK but certainly photogenic in the right situation. The image at 15:00 was the pick of the bunch for me. I usually head for Brenig armed with my flyrod when in the locality but maybe I ought to take my camera instead and have a look at Alwen 📷👍👍

Loved the pink flowers as the foreground for the dam. Just looking at your glasses in the sun Paul, I think the fog probably looked heavier than it really was. Your lenses look worse than mine are most of the time Hahah
i liked the idea of shooting this them made a change
