it’s 00:20, I’m eating a a dinner that consists of egg salad and croissant. it’s my first real meal of the day because I’ve been busy with errands and work. my stepfather who is battling cancer sleeps two rooms down, I hope he enjoyed the lunch I made for him during my break from work. my tea is almost done, the lamp beside me looms over the dinner table where I’m sat. The lyrics are so deep to this song and hidden on purpose. The line in the orignal (you dont wanna hear me you just wanna dance) is like the band speaking and telling the audience they arent listening to the words only the get beats. But when it's tone down like this to let the emotional part speak its almost kinda heartbreaking.
