Btw, there was an earlier book I think would also be of interest, as it is a memoir by a participant in the Australian affiliate of the Congress for Cultural Freedom. His name is Peter Coleman, and the book is called, 'The Liberal Conspiracy' (1985).
(3:39) Here he's referring to the Congress for Cultural Freedom* -- which targeted intellectuals and the arts overseas -- and Operation Mockingbird -- which targeted the media within the U.S. -- both launched in 1952. *(Edit:) As Rockhill goes into at 15:47 -- my understanding is that it was exposed in 'Ramparts' magazine in February 1967 (though here he gives the date as '66).
Coming to this video 3 months late and them talking about the right wing militia groups is even more relevant given that some groups got in the way of FEMA assistance after the two hurricanes that hit the American South.
