- On May 27, 2015 in Orlando, Florida at the Rosen Plaza Hotel, Brother Steven P. Boring was installed as the Grand Master of Free & Accepted Masons of the Grand Lodge of Florida. This video shows selected portions of the Grand Lodge installation ceremony that relate to the Grand Master.
Sincerity and solemnity! This is perhaps the very last beaconing light of our decaying humanity.

For those who wish to join the fraternity, it is organized by jurisdiction. In Florida, the Grand Lodge of Florida is the jurisdiction and is further subdivided into Zones, Districts and Particular Lodges. There is a residency requirement and you would be best served by contacting a lodge in the area where you live. The Grand Lodge of Florida website can help you locate the nearest lodge. If you live in another state, the jurisdiction is probably similar. In other countries I am not certain, but you may find some with national grand lodges.

You join we don't do recurrent. But I myself no several colored masons.
By regulation, in Florida, discrimination by race is not allowed; if you want more color, then you can help change our composition by petitioning a lodge in your area. The Masonic Digest, which is the Florida regulation, contains provisions to override a brother's exclusionary vote if it is determined to be based on the petitioner's race. We welcome all men who believe in God and do not have a serious criminal history. Membership in Florida masonry, as in other jurisdictions, has been in decline for decades. Generally, we do not consider this decline to be beneficial and we are not well served by any Brother who would exclude a man from the fraternity for reasons of race. If you believe you have been denied membership in the fraternity for reasons of race, I would urge you to contact the Grand Lodge of Florida to make your case.
