You perfectly walk the line of being as catchy as the original, making your new lyrics fit in the music and be consistent with your new theme, and most importantly at the same time being respectful to scripture and to Jesus. Yeah I ain’t Christian but this sounds A LOT better than most covers and I thought it was gonna be worse than those based on the title lol. Sorry Christians, I just had a few bad experiences with Christians who used their religion to pretend to care about helping people and got rich from donations and did stuff with minors… I don’t blame all Christians and don’t have anything against the religion or judge people who are Christians but there are toxic churches and you barely have to look to find victims finally talking about their trauma to warn people and help themselves get past their traumatic experiences. But if god is real he’s probably too busy with dealing with demons and creating universes to care that one person likes the same gender so if you’re against lgbtq then you care more about miss treating gods creations than god cares about punishing you for not treating everyone else with the same respect that you’d want. Anyway, happy 2024!

you know, i'm a non christian who clicked on this expecting to laugh at a poor cover of song trying to force a jesus message into popular stuff...but holy cow I didn't expect it to be as good as it was!
I clicked this and was like "hey, cool idea!"
but this seriously surprised me so much, the lyrics were... wow. So spot on and literally perfectly fitting and so full of truth ❤️
It wasn't just a cool idea but really well made and... yeah, so full of truth, the part with Him telling me I'm forgiven and the part with Isreal were the most touching to me.

I may be an atheist, but wow this is awesome!! The lyrics fit very well into the song rhythmically and with their rhyme, the singers are very talented, and the animation is just gorgeous. It isn't about me not wanting to admit it. What would the point be in that anyway? Why would I (on purpose) go against the Bible and put my afterlife at stake if I knew that God is real? Doing so just makes no logical sense.
