Yes there are some comparisons but the difference is Hercules in the beginning was made mortal however since he did not drink the entire potion he maintained his strength so he could become a god again Hercules was at home with those who adopted him but he was a Demi god so knowing his origins was important, also Zeus could not just leave Olympus because he’s a god the head god and as a god his job had to come first but when Hercules prayed Zeus revealed himself so it’s not like he wasn’t there for his son. Gods can’t just leave there post wrath of the titans informs us of why Zeus tells us that without the gods the universe would collapse however like with the titans Demi gods can take over. The point is Zeus can’t just leave his post.

I'd say that making Christian-religious parodies of songs from well-known family animated movies targeted mainly at younger audiences is a good way to appeal to the younger generations as they can easily relate to it. Good way to share the message of Jesus, and I hope for the most that this will in fact be genuine for the most part. And if so, great work! I admire it and share with you my prayers. Im honestly still lost myself. I dont know what to really believe anymore, I remember when I was young, I was so passionate and believed so much, but I don't know when or where I started to stray away. I feel terrible for it, and I'm slowly trying to find my way again. It just proves challenging for me. I have three kids, two daughters, and one son. Just got JKV bible for myself to start reading again. And a kids illustrated version to get them involved. I've been doing a lot of research on ways to teach them about everything, Jesus, the bible, etc. My son is 2, my youngest daughter is 3, turning 4 this October, and the eldest is 6 going on 7. My biggest regret was somewhere losing my faith, and that's honestly the last thing I want to happen to them. They love these songs, though I do as well. I'm 30 this June, so I grew up with the same movies and songs I show to them. Please keep it up and keep making more. Bless you.
I think sometimes life just wears you down. I lost 80% of my family (many in difficult ways) by the time I was 30. I still feel like I am just getting through the day sometimes. Keep running the race. When we all get to heaven the trials of this life will fade away, and what a day of rejoicing that will be. I will pray for you.
this song reminds me of the two parables in Luke 15 about the lost sheep who a shepherd found and rejoiced at reuniting with his sheep. The chapter continues with another story called "lost son" a father had two sons one who left and wasted money and another who was always on the fathers side and was good and when the son who wasted money came back the father started a party cuz he was so happy to have him back. The son who was always by his side was a bit jealous and asked why there was no party for him and the father said "you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’” Also reminder Jesus is our shepherd in John 10:11-15.
Our relationship with Christ is just that a relationship. As such it has ups and downs. It isn't more real in the ups or less real in the downs. Faith demands believing it is still there, even when we can't feel it. So I suggest fix your eyes on the love of God and not the passion that once was.

I haven't shed tears like this in a long time, and it was deeply needed. I had distanced myself from faith for nearly two decades before I chose to trust in God, His word, and to understand what it means to have a relationship with Him. I've been drawn back to faith, yet I harbored doubts about whether I should return after such a long absence, questioning if God had forsaken me. Amidst these doubts, I felt as though I was enveloped in great arms, swept off my feet. It's incomprehensible that He, after all I've done, would still consider me His child and welcome me into His embrace. His love is truly immeasurable! Thank you, Father!

I think its amazing how much you can feel the power and amount of faith in the voices and writing and it really touches me. I have a suggestion/recommendatuon, i think it would be really nice to hear god help the outcasts from a new christian point of view, seeing as it is already slightly christian its always been a song thar i think resonated with my faith i would love to see how that would fit in a different christian context.

This has become unexpectedly my favourite channel. You can tell how much your love and faith is exceptionally expressed through music. I respect anyone who can do that with music, because it is one of the few ways I have ever seen humanity get closer no doubt. I'm still on my journey and taking lessons in understanding, so I don't think I have the best way in responding to this as the many wonderful Christians here can. Though I know I am no atheist, I have a lot to ask and learn and listen. But I can feel, the emotions, the way you have creatively expressed these teachings and messages. Pride isn't the right word, but I am greatful that you have done so. I find it difficult to reject music when and especially it would be one of the best ways to reach a heart. Like you see the light in a older person playing music from their childhood, music like this reaches in a different magnificent way. I believe that is the same with humour. Joy, laughter and music, is what my heart would hope that would be celebrated most of all. Sorrow had much to learn, and there is time for comfort, pain and hardship. That is the life and body we have been given yet the best I have seen of Christianity and all other religions as well is from people creating hope and happiness. Holding hands during tragedy, singing, telling valuable stories. Many scholars say that music shouldn't be played, or have rules outside their Holy Texts that make only the followers shed tears. I respect that is their way of connection. But it is the main reason I am alike to a lost sheep with religion, whilst my heart knows much of what I believe. I tremble at the next steps for those find desperation in causing pain and separation rather than closeness. That is on those who claim to spread goodwill. The only comfort is I at least trust in God and the closeness brought in presence of that experience. And in music like this as well. Leaders of religions should see what would happen if they spread messages alike to melodies of life and love and faith. Rather that pressure and entrap their followers in dispair.

I love this. I can go the distance is one of my favorite Disney songs. Even though it’s written for a movie about Greek mythology I always felt like it ultimately had Christian vibes other than the lines about seeking cheering crowds. Now I have two versions of this song to inspire me.

So I just listened to "We must talk about Jesus" and "Worth all the World", and I thought they were both great. Then I got to 0:50 in this video and was worried that this was presenting a works-based salvation, but I decided to listen to the rest of it to see if it clarified. And WOW, the second part brought me to actual streaming tears. I'm not exaggerating when I say that hasn't happened in years.

Please listen to the whole song! The prodigal son begins with the intention to earn his way back to his Father, but by the end he has realized "I couldn't find my way - it's You who closed the distance." The truths you're saying are actually the whole point of this song! :)

That was a beautiful parody, made me tear up
This has become unexpectedly my favourite channel. You can tell how much your love and faith is exceptionally expressed through music. I respect anyone who can do that with music, because it is one of the few ways I have ever seen humanity get closer no doubt. I'm still on my journey and taking lessons in understanding, so I don't think I have the best way in responding to this as the many wonderful Christians here can. Though I know I am no atheist, I have a lot to ask and learn and listen. But I can feel, the emotions, the way you have creatively expressed these teachings and messages. Pride isn't the right word, but I am greatful that you have done so. I find it difficult to reject music when and especially it would be one of the best ways to reach a heart. Like you see the light in a older person playing music from their childhood, music like this reaches in a different magnificent way. I believe that is the same with humour. Joy, laughter and music, is what my heart would hope that would be celebrated most of all. Sorrow had much to learn, and there is time for comfort, pain and hardship. That is the life and body we have been given yet the best I have seen of Christianity and all other religions as well is from people creating hope and happiness. Holding hands during tragedy, singing, telling valuable stories. Many scholars say that music shouldn't be played, or have rules outside their Holy Texts that make only the followers shed tears. I respect that is their way of connection. But it is the main reason I am alike to a lost sheep with religion, whilst my heart knows much of what I believe. I tremble at the next steps for those find desperation in causing pain and separation rather than closeness. That is on those who claim to spread goodwill. The only comfort is I at least trust in God and the closeness brought in presence of that experience. And in music like this as well.
Leaders of religions should see what would happen if they spread messages alike to melodies of life and love and faith. Rather that pressure and entrap their followers in dispair.

I love this. I can go the distance is one of my favorite Disney songs. Even though it’s written for a movie about Greek mythology I always felt like it ultimately had Christian vibes other than the lines about seeking cheering crowds. Now I have two versions of this song to inspire me.

So I just listened to "We must talk about Jesus" and "Worth all the World", and I thought they were both great. Then I got to 0:50 in this video and was worried that this was presenting a works-based salvation, but I decided to listen to the rest of it to see if it clarified.

I have one massive objection to this song. It’s not our job to close the distance. God comes running to us when we accept him. We don’t close the distance, HE does.
Please listen to the whole song! The prodigal son begins with the intention to earn his way back to his Father, but by the end he has realized "I couldn't find my way - it's You who closed the distance." The truths you're saying are actually the whole point of this song! :)
