We gave a good account of ourselves. Scott scored, as did Abbott, so that is encouraging. As to the result, I honestly don't care. They didn't get turned over, and this season was always about the league. That's where the season will be defined.
The substitutions looked in the main to be about saving players for Tuesday. If that was the case, why start with them? I'll be interested to hear Maynard's post match interview.
I’ve still felt this season that any success we have had has not been because of Maynard but despite him. There were enough signs last season that he was out of his depth but he is still at the helm. I hope that he will prove me wrong but as of now I can’t see it happening.
Mass substitutions were a disaster last time he did it. Walsall in poor form. Tuesday is massive but without jody edwards robbo crowley platt and possibly abbott we will struggle.
Unfortunately the manger got this decision terrible wrong with the substitutions tactically and formation wise My worry is when we back to full strength they will be big moments in games in second half of the season unfortunately I have no confidence in this manger getting them right
First two thirds great. Last third dire. Last two minutes great. Ahead for over half the game. Best team won but, with that stronger line up, Notts could have.
Enough is enough. You are winning 2-1 with 20 mins left against a higher league team, with a chance to get in the 3rd round of the fa cup. ( Where you haven't been for 8 years) .And you take 4 players off and give up. Everybody knew what would happen after that. It shows total contempt to the fans . Maynard out.
They are an average div 1 club. They could have scored 8 at least. If we got promoted we wouldn't have a cat in hells chance of competing in div1 with this team. Do I blame Maynard? Not entirely. Montague is more to blame with his sick note signings. No pace in the team without Langstaffe and Namane. Swapped Namane for Grant, what a joke Montague is
@bobh9029 notts spent more money on wages than Peterborough do 3.8m for notts and 3.6m for Peterborough. The problem will be is can notts attract the top free agents or have enough money to go spend 600k on a player

Brilliant game to watch, atmosphere was electric. Players were well prepared and up for the challenge. Maynard continues to have my vote.

Now 8years before we get I n to round 3.top3 or another year in div 4
Notts don't spend enough money

Was always going to lose so why play regular players doesn't make sense to me
Gives them a bigger challenge and more experience.
Good match summary! subs 😵💫

And if them players get injured and don't don't make tbe play offs, is that 100k worth it?

Judge at the end of the season
You've got to spend money if you wanna survive in League 1
@@matthewwilliams4168 Going to have to spend a lot. I just wouldn't give it to Montague to spend

Shows how bad our recruitment is then. Still got too many non league players. We escaped a thrashing. Result was flattering
You do realise you’re allowed to be negative and criticise from time to time?
Less than a minute into the video... "Some positives, but lots of negatives". There's criticism throughout the video?
