Sergent Soymilk: (Combat Log 7/21/2024"4 days late") The Empire is starting to deploy their forces everywhere probably trying to split us up while probing our defenses for weaknesses. We are still trying to control the Terminid swarm but stopping the empire is still important. The higher ups sent me with a secure container filled with Nanites it has been a while since I used but for a good reason for their destructive capabilities if not used carefully. They also wanted to try out some new toys the SMDs or Strategic Missile drones, they work like how we use our plane Kamikaze tactics but with more efficiency. They have advanced guidance systems and an aerodynamic design for perfect targeting, speed, and efficiency while have a small but very powerful payload that could avoid enemy fire. Plus, they could be mass produced for cheaper than wasting our planes. This probably won't stop us from using the Tactics but will greatly reduce the need for it. The Empire's walkers were attacking our small costal airfields, our major business sectors. and our Artic research base. Defending the island airfields and business sectors were easy to deal with SMDs helping greatly but I had to drive a truck filled with explosives off a building into a walker, but it was fine defending the Artic base was a different story. Turns out the Higher up that was removed for his reckless nuclear missile usage ratted out the location of the base to the empire hoping for a reward or higher standing in the Empire's command, we found his remains in a abandoned Imperial bunker. The Empire sent a massive attack force that included two Star destroyers to flatten the base. We did everything to hold them off but even with the Rebellions help we had a problem until command told us to retreat, we didn't want to let the empire destroy the base, but command said that wasn't the reason we had to get out soon after we saw a Nuclear missile hit the empire's forces heavily damaging the Star destroyers causing them to retreat while wiping out their ground troops. Command decided to use the traitor's tactic properly since the Reseach facility of the base was deep underground so it would survive. I asked them what research would be so important that they would use a nuke. They told me to go into the facility to see for myself and what I saw shocked me, prototypes for upgraded versions of our superweapons. plans for improved fighter craft and X-wings. Multiple super soldier programs and more. Two scientists said they would have to move the facility to somewhere more secrete since the base was exposed but they wanted me to see what they have been working on first since I would have to use these in the future. Then they told me they wanted to give me something that was just finished thanks to the Rebellion for helping them finishing it. They first gave me a custom Lightsaber which confused me at first since I wasn't a Jedi but before I could tell them that I was then given a strange pill. I asked what is in it, they said it contained Genetically Advanced Midi-chlorians that would give me the powers of a Jedi after taking it. I thought they were crazy, but they said it was true it took years to perfect the formula and with the Empire, Combine, and Terminid invasion its importance grew massively. With help from the Rebellion, they finally finished it yes there was only one but one was enough. They wanted me to take it so I did and soon after my body went limp for a minute but soon after I was okay. They wanted to know if the pill worked and wanted me to test it. I lifted some parts and to my surprise it started to hover without a forklift or crane lifting it, IT WORKED!!! they told me I could use the more advanced Jedi powers due time but lifting things is a great start for right now, I was told to use they powers responsively to help truly turn the tide of the war in our favor and I was happy to oblige.
