I really appreciate all your videos, I've been selling online for over 20 years but I still learn stuff everytime I watch you. You keep me informed of new brands and also brands that aren't selling so good anymore
I love your hauls and Mogi Beth. But the one thing both of you guys are amazing at is to know what’s popular and trending, newer styles and tags and sell through rates... I would love to see how to do this!!!!! 💓💓💓
Hi Nicole. Thanks for sharing all you do. I know you mentioned you shared a link somewhere as to where you got your large photo light box with the hanging bar. Would you mind sharing again. Thanks. Lisa.
Hi, Vionics are actually orthopedic shoes and are expensive when new. They sell in medical supply stores and even sandals sell for $60 and up. Good find ! What I like most is they are stylish and not frumpy looking for orthopedic.
I’m often shocked when I watch your videos and see all the gems that you find. Sometimes I can’t believe people just give away such amazing items. Like those Hunters boots. What a find!
Wow that is so cool you find so many designer dresses. All I ever find at my goodwill is Ann Taylor, forever 21, etc. All great stuff thank you for sharing.
I would love a video specifically about the brands you pick up to send into thredup. I have used thredup, but just stuff from my personal wardrobe that i didn't think was worth the time to list. I have never sourced something to send into thredup and am wondering how you learn what brands to well on there.
Dang, I need to get to Seattle! Tickets are super cheap about right now to go once they reopen. :-) Thanks for sharing. I never heard of any of the clothing brands, except Lululemon.
I love learning all of the brands on your videos! I found a Zero dress recently, didn’t know the label but could tell it was silk, so I grabbed it for $4 bucks, once I ran the comps I about fell over 😱
I love seeing your brands. A bunch of those had become hard nos for me (hoss intropia, comptoir, Reiss.. ) because I had one or two pieces listed that didn't do well for me. Now that you've brought it my attention Il'm excited to try them again, especially at the bins and garage sales.
I have a Corey too! He's my reselling business partner. We have 2 antique booths together. Always looking out for eachother thrifting and estate sales😏
Love your videos! Have learned a lot. Don't know how you know all these brands? I just need to get started and see how it goes. I've been a resale shopper for years but not too much on clothing. I used yo sell antiques a d collectibles. Happy Shopping Nicole!!!
Love your Videos, you always have so much fun and give out such great information! What do you use to get the x mark off the tag that Goodwill puts on the tag?
Nicole, you are my hero! I am amazed at your talent, your attitude your brains, and of course your radiant energy. As always, I love you, even tho you make me feel like a slacker. LOL. Do you ever sleep?
Hi Nicole , Veronica here. As a newbie can you give me an idea what are definite brands to look for. I think I have a good idea of what's well in regards to construction of a garment. I live in Virginia have at least 4 stores have good stuff always.
Hi Nichole, first thank you so much for your time and wisdom. Can you or have you? Ever, Just put a list together of the brands you look for? Thanks and have a blessed day sweetie.
Olivia’s Life, Hi there, 🙋♀️ it’s amazing how many brands out there. What i’m going to do is make a list, then take four to five off the list and just look for those at my local thrift stores for a week. Repeat, repeat, I think this will ingrain in my brain the brands i need to remember. 😊
Roseanne Pryor it’s @nicolestate... she’s blonde! Theres two actually... @nicole_state...but one has no listings...so maybe she shops from one and sells from another! 💕
Lyza R Vidal lol.. I never thought of doing that! Hahaha! Yeah, they use permanent marker here too. It’s a real bear to off of unglazed pottery too because it soaks in and even acetone won’t take it off. I find an emery board, used gently, can usually buff off the ink, but not always. I hardly go to GW anymore because of it. We are fortunate to have a few great charity thrift shops in our area, so I support them, but if they use permanent ink, I will stop going there too.
@@katemcpherson3492 Mine too does the permanent ink😕. You name it, pottery, sheer, high value.. And of course, leather. I have had to leave items because who wants to go around carrying their light color leather purse with a big black 9 by the zipper🤣. If it's small enough on clothing tag, I just cover it with matching sharpie. I also bought different colors as my closest thrift uses the silver/grey sharpie. Idk if it really matters to buyers, but always bothered me as a seller. I do so wish they would all use the water soluble pens
I have almost completely stopped with women’s shoes and clothes because about 1 out of 4.womens items I sell are returned because women are far too picky.
This video will defintely DISCOURAGE people from donating valuable merchandise. It is encouraging people to make a profit and it.s really lousy to brag about reselling charitable donations. This is a disservice to the purpose of charity organizations such as goodwill.
The purpose of selling donated goods by Goodwill, Salvation Army etc, is to bring in revenue to fund their charitable programs. Resellers are contributing money and therefore are definitely helping.
Lots of people resell. You should see how many good brands that go to the Bins from Goodwill. They don't get picked up in the Goodwill store, but end up selling well online. If they don't get bought then they go to landfill! Reselling is actually very good for the environment. It also gives people a job. It's essentially a personal shopper. Finding items people want and selling them for a profit. You are paying for the resellers time while still getting a discount and don't even have to leave your house! Plus people still give away clothes knowing about resellers because they don't want to put in the work to sell themselves. Also by donating them they end up giving multiple people money: the people that own Goodwill, the workers of goodwill, the resellers, and even the employees of resellers. Also not all thrift stores give to charity as some are for profit or have CEOs with very high salaries. Resellers is actually good for the general public.
Goodwill cares about no one they over price shit pay people min wage and make billions!! They are the ones getting free shit over pricing it so much that real poor people can’t pay that much anyways. Platos closet pays people for their items that they sell in their stores and they have some prices similar to goodwills. They get free shit a rob people/ pay employees shitty. Also they never have enough employees and don’t want to hire because they are so cheap. Those few employees they have are working like crazy for nothing while they make billions.

Hi Nicole! Question: Do you make more money listing a bigger quantity of items from the bins or from picking out single items at Goodwill? THX
Hi, Vionics are actually orthopedic shoes and are expensive when new. They sell in medical supply stores and even sandals sell for $60 and up. Good find ! What I like most is they are stylish and not frumpy looking for orthopedic.
YES! Most definitely thrift at that GW more often! It is amazing.
Next week I’m going back!

I find a lot of that stuff too, some days I walk out empty handed but I’m always thankful for a good thrifting day!
I would definitely head to that side of town, once a week or two weeks
How do you reconcile the price of thrifting vs your net profit margin? How do you decide what to pick up?
I would love a video specifically about the brands you pick up to send into thredup. I have used thredup, but just stuff from my personal wardrobe that i didn't think was worth the time to list. I love your potted plants in the background. 😍
Dang, I need to get to Seattle! Tickets are super cheap about right now to go once they reopen. :-) Thanks for sharing. I never heard of any of the clothing brands, except Lululemon.
You got some awesome stuff. I love watching your videos. Keep them coming.

Love your videos! Have learned a lot. Don't know how you know all these brands? I just need to get started and see how it goes. I've been a resale shopper for years but not too much on clothing. I used yo sell antiques a d collectibles. Happy Shopping Nicole!!!

I'd definitely go to the other side of town as often as possible!!
Wow..the goodwill prices are high there. But the items are really nice.
I loved Corey can you shop with him somemore. He was fun

It's always hit and miss but I need to put it into my rotation for sure!
Which Goodwill in Portland. I have only been to the Burnside Goodwill and it is quite small.
Hi Nichole, first thank you so much for your time and wisdom. Can you or have you? Ever, Just put a list together of the brands you look for? Thanks and have a blessed day sweetie.
Yes go to side more.
Question how do you clean suade shoes?
great haul. ttyl
Do you clean these clothes before you send them out to the customers?
You're making me want to source more shoes! I've never really been a fan of shoes
Do you clean everything before you post?
Tons of nice dresses! Some new brands to me, thanks for the info.
Thanks for watching!!
Nicole you must not live in Ca. Our prices are retail at GW and for designer brands, forget it!
Char Char she lives in Portland. 👍
Hi Nicole...have you listed the Born sandals? I would love to purchase.
Why are the tags written on with markers? Does it come off easily?
Great video!! Is this the one by the airport?
Nice haul!
Great video. Learn so much from you. What do you use to remove price code in labels.
Thanks! I just leave it on.
Your Goodwill is so expensive! I thought it was bad here in San Francisco but I'm going to stop complaining now.
How do you remove the black price on the tag?
What site are you going to when you look up values? Thank you!
I just look at the sold listings on poshmark :)
How do you know all these labels? I can’t ever remember all..

Bruceann Yellowega great idea. I may do the same & categorize & alphabetize for easy reference 😉
Q

What is your Poshmark name? Would love to purchase one of your dresses. Couldn’t find you?
Roseanne Pryor it’s @nicolestate... she’s blonde! Theres two actually... @nicole_state...but one has no listings...so maybe she shops from one and sells from another! 💕
what is the most popular size for shoes you sale?
Honestly I don’t know!
When I lived in Portland that was my favorite Goodwill. Cross the bridge, lol.
So which Goodwill is the biggest in Oregon?
Super expensive though ??
SaltandHoney UT lotta money in Portland folks.
Why poshmark??? Ebay is better
Love it!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I couldn’t shop at that Goodwill because they stupidly use permanent ink to mark the price in Roman numerals on the item name tag
Lyza R Vidal lol.. I never thought of doing that! Hahaha! Yeah, they use permanent marker here too. Shoe queen!
Love it!
Beautiful dresses
Yes
Hi friend! Can you tag me when you list the navy TB drivers? Also the alo leggings. My closet is @mgombar . Thank you!
I have almost completely stopped with women’s shoes and clothes because about 1 out of 4.womens items I sell are returned because women are far too picky.
Great video 👍🏻 but am I the only one who is cringing at the way she’s folding all the “expensive” dresses ? 😱
Another storage wars bullshit show. You find a dog turd, "I think I can get $100 for that!"
I think your Mother in law tongue behind you might need some food and not much water...unless you just transplanted it. Just sayin.
