BLACK MALE R&B GROUPS NEED TO MAKE A STRONG COMEBACK!! The music industry needs this!! And the female R&B groups too!! The reason the 1960s and the 1990s stand out so much in music history, is because there were so many dominate Black R&B groups! There is NO substitute.
But you know what happens...egos and money...you humble in the beginning, but when the chatter starts and the money isn't the same for all...it just won't last. Plus the younger generation that is the biggest consumer of music today...they won't appreciate it...and they are the ones driving this music industry. I'm with you...the industry needs a shift!

Actually 88-89 Senior year. Good version but seems blasphemous towards New Edition. I remember breaking up with my girlfriend Senior Year saying, "I guess you couldn't stand the rain". Yea little dramatic but I love this song and a great album!!! Finally some songs that late teens can identify with and remember in a positive way. Maybe more will start to come out. Then he divorced me 12yrs later😏, married his mistress of 11yrs and 4 children of her own and left me to raise a 3yr old little girl-love of my life. Which I have done successfully w God's help. Because it isn’t live. It’s been pre recorded or overdubbed. Their vocals are all heavily auto-tuned, eq’d and mixed.
They’ve filmed it at the wedding live but overdubbed all their vocals in a studio, adding the live audience reaction audio captured on the night to make it appear live.

Shure SM58s are great microphones but hell naw they sound like that on a live sound environment (specially when the singer is dancing and constantly moving the microphone)
