you can only be truly happy when you can be how you are when no one's around every day...remember folk, peace, love, happiness...don't overthink things, don't be afraid of what's gonna happen, what other are gonna think, just do it, do what makes you happy, when you make yourself happy then try to make other happy too, don't take stuff too seriously and personally, don't make yourself feel bad cuz of what other say, you have nothing to worry about if you be yourself

A gente é do brasil, nao temos muita noção das coisas... vou te explicar um pouco o porquê. Indie é um tipo de música independente, onde os artistas produzem simplesmente pelo fato de entenderem que nasceram pra isso. É o oposto da mídia industrializada, do Spotify, das grandes produtoras (nao dizendo que estes não acham que nasceram pra isso, mas é um estilo de venda, de popularização, mais do que satisfação própria). A gente acha que tudo que é bom tem que ter visualização. Na verdade não é bem assim... A gente se acostuma com sertanejo no topo, com Nirvana top trend depois do filme do Batman, e por aí vai... aí nos acostumamos com essa coisa de que é bom se tem visualização. Kurt Cobain é do caralho, não nego, mas o que eu to dizendo é que a atenção para o mais visualizado é alienatória. Indie Folk, minha filha, sinto lhe dizer, acho que pra sempre vai ser assim: 1k de likes, 18k de followers e nem preciso dizer o resto. Eu acho assim (na minha opinião agr): quem é musicista e produz por conta própria, que foge do comercial, tem a essência. Indie é sobre sentir o que vc é e passar 200% pra música, seja ela indie pop, rock ou principalmente o folk. É pra quem sente, pra quem valoriza que sente e valoriza o sentir do artista, justamente pq ele consegue ser exímio no que faz. Folk então, a melancolia presente é de fazer qualquer um que se assemelha chorar. Visualização não é sinônimo de coisa boa!!

Indie is a kind of independent music, where artists produce simply because they understand that they were born for it. It's the opposite of the industrialized media, Spotify, the big producers (not saying that they don't think they were born for this, but it's a style of selling, of popularization, more than self-satisfaction). We think that everything good has to be visualized. Actually, it's not like that... We get used to Sertanejo at the top, with Nirvana top trend after the Batman movie, and so on... then we get used to this thing that it's good if there's visualization. Kurt Cobain is fucking good, I don't deny it, but what I'm saying is that attention to the most viewed is alienating. Indie Folk, my daughter, I'm sorry to tell you, I think it's going to be like this forever: 1k likes, 18k followers and I don't even need to say the rest. I think like this (in my opinion now): whoever is a musician and produces on their own, who avoids commercials, has the essence. Indie is about feeling what you are and putting 200% into music, be it indie pop, rock or especially folk. The melancholy present on indie folk is to make anyone who resembles it cry. It's for those who feel, for those who value what they feel and value the artist's feeling, precisely because he manages to be excellent at what he does. Visualization is not synonymous with good thing!!

Eu tô familiarizada com o estilo indie/folk (é um dos que eu mais escuto, e também um dos meus preferidos), mas é legal ver alguém tentando conscientizar as pessoas sobre isso, já que por ser um gênero musical mais desconhecido, muita gente não tem essa noção. Meu comentário sobre não entender como o Harrison ainda não foi descoberto foi mais no intuito de reconhecimento, porque as músicas dele são muito boas, e apesar dele trabalhar com um nicho mais segmentado da indústria musical, ele tem um tom de voz bem ''industrial'' (no sentido de ser fácil de adaptar ao que a massa escuta e ao que a mídia gosta de vender, mas sem perder a essência). Mas concordo plenamente com você. Inclusive, recomendo ler sobre a teoria da Indústria Cultural, de Adorno e Horkheime, tem tudo a ver com o que você falou.
