Pads vs Paste - Pads are thicker, if the case is designed to use pads it may perform worse with paste (paste needs a tighter fit between the case and heatspreader). I have two pi3b+ in flirc cases - the one on paste runs ~10'C hotter than the one with a pad (one day I'll open it up and pop a pad on there!).

Can you recommend a micro-usb to usb-c adapter to hook a pi-zero with a usb-c hub? Assume they have to be OTG friendly? I have one that provides power but doesn’t recognise and usb devices in the hub. Thanks.

I think your problem with the ssd was voltage related .. I have the onboard wifi blacklisted on my pi 4.. I'm using a usb 3 Edimax 1750 ac wifi dongle.. It uses a lot more power as when I plug in my ssd with roms and backup how too files I end up with a crash straight up or in a short period of time.... Place the sane files on a 128 gig Samsung Bar no more crashes... Plug a usb 3 device into a usb3 connection without enough power the device will default to usb 2 speeds or crash. My Edimax wifi dongle plugged into usb 2 will only run at b.g.n speeds not ac ie: super slow

I've got a CM4 but it has no eMMC OR WiFi :'( - but that is ALL there was available ... I've got it running on a Waveshare CM4-IO-BASE-B so I could use my PCIe m.2 nvme SSD. And the great thing is that no matter what OS I've used the SSD has shown up every time without exception. I mainly got this to get some retro emulation going and I've had some different degrees of success. I haven't watched too many tutorials or guides, so I'm kinda just winging it most of the time. This is the first time I've used a Pi, but I have moderate experience with Linux, so it's not ALL foreign to me.
I have often thought about multi-boot but never took the time to look into it. I don't mess with my pi very often, mainly because I have a decent desktop next it, and I'm not a huge gamer. I was disappointed when I trie to watch youtube at 40k60 in PiOS and there were so many dropped frames and it was just unwatchable with all the stuttering and skips. But I was relieved to find that this isn't a problem with my system, that's just the way it is currently.
I would like to have my OS on the nvme, but when I followed Jeff Geerling's instruction it just did not work, even when I started over from step one. And feeling defeated I put it all down, and haven't looked at in the past 2 months. I've been thinking of trying out an Android OS if possible, mainly because I hear it does youtube playback much better that PiOS.....
Anyway, do you think this multi-boot could be setup on an SD card, or a USB drive? (or even the nvme) I would surely think so, I'll have to check out BerryBoot's page. Thanks fo4r that by the way, I had no idea it existed.
And thank you for ALL the videos you do. As soon as I see you've uploaded, I'm on that page like a fly on ssshhhhh... peaches left out on a picnic table :)
    See you soon :)

I had a look at BerryBooot, why are there no new images for RPi OS Bullseye? There is only RPi OS 2020.11.

Hi, I know you have done videos on screen tearing with the raspberry pi 4 but I just wanted to see if you encountered the same issues with crt. I keep getting screen tearing on my raspberry pi 4 via a crt, happens loads in emulators like final burn and neo geo. Any help would be much appreciated.

@@leepspvideo no worries, cheers for the response. I've looked at alot information and links around it but it appears to be a common problem, back to my raspberry pi 3 I guess

@@leepspvideo A couple years ago I just bought a baggie full of like 100 jumpers, and I have them in a little box by my desk. They come in handy here and there (I often lose one on the floor!), and they cost like $1 or 2 :)
Though anything that makes a connection works!
