I wanted to sleep in, now I must go on the trails! I was motivated by your video and the Warbler's. Hope I can get a few. Yesterday I saw Blue birds and Common Yellow throat's that's about it.
You have so many different birds. The birds around here are slowly getting used to the pebble pond and the pond has brought out a couple of different birds that I wouldn’t otherwise see. Also 2 weeks ago a rufous hummingbird has shown up here and that’s a rare treat. When the hummingbird numbers pick up right before they leave for winter it will be interesting to see if there is more than one rufous. Thanks for sharing and enjoy the fall migration birds.
I’ve never seen a Rufus Hummingbird! That’s so neat! Give your pool time. I built my first bird pond here 12 years ago and the number and variety of birds that visit has grown slowly over the years.
My goodness!! It's a busy time!! I feel so privileged to get to see all these birds. The warblers are just lovely. They are indeed persistent, and it's a good thing or they'd never get a turn. I never realized how feisty the Chickadees can be til watching these videos. The crabby one needed to have it's morning coffee and regroup 😄. I can't imagine who will show up next but I'm sure looking forward to whatever surprises may come. Just think of what we'd be missing if you hadn't built those water features and mounted the cameras. THANK YOU!! Have a great week!! 🥰🌿♥️
I sooo look forward to this time of year. The warblers are such fun little birds to watch. I love how they flit around and that they tend to travel around together, so all of a sudden, there’s a bird pond full of birds. Fun! Thanks for watching and have a great week.
Sigh....always such a soothing delight to watch the "watering hole" and see who shows up and how they interact. As usual, the Caroline Chickadee was a bit of a bully and the Tufted Titmouse (mice?) know how to hog the pond. Lessons in group dynamics! Thanks again for bringing some birdie beauty to my Sunday!
Interesting comparisons: Titmice and chickadees are small birds, but the warblers are smaller still. I have seen very few warblers up close and this lends itself to the best comparison. So lovely and amazing! Thank you, as always, for sharing this!
@@beaka63 Good observation! Warblers are some of the smallest birds we get here. Some are larger than others. The Bay-breasted seem to be one of the larger warblers. The hummingbirds, kinglets, and maybe gnatcatchers are the only birds I can think of that are smaller than the warblers. Even more amazing to think that these smallest birds tends to migrate the longest distances.
My big fat orange cat is lounging on my lap while this lovely bird video is playing. He's not interested in the birds. He is interested in the sausage sandwich in my hand. Which reminds me to ask if you put out feeders for the birds and what kind of feed do you offer? Water is a great attractant, especially in dry weather, so I'm guessing you don't need to put out seed to bring in birds. Love all them, they're great ambassadors of nature reminding us to take care of our environment.
😄 Funny kitty! I don’t feed the birds as much as I used to. I mainly put out food during the winter months. I offer black oil sunflower seeds, peanuts, suet, and a finch mix during the coldest months. I switch to just peanuts and suet in the spring, and then only occasionally offer some peanuts or sunflower seeds during the summer. I do have hummingbird feeders up and full all summer.
The birds are beautiful and it's great to see them enjoying the pond. The Canadian warbler is quite lovely.

Have fun out there! I hope you see some good birds. I’m jealous of the Common Yellow-throats. That’s one of the warblers I haven’t seen here yet.

It is fun to watch them interact! They all have their own little personalities. Thanks for watching and have. Great week!
So marvelous!!!
Exciting time of year, reminding us the world keeps turning and we must protect it's inhabitants. ❤❤❤
So true. We all need to do what we can.
I am slowly learning the birds. Thank you so so much!!
Excellent! Thanks for watching 🙂
love these videos
Never saw a Canada warbler. That is truly special.
I don’t think I’ve ever had such nice close up video of one either. I’ve only had them here a few times. I was really excited when I saw it!
