He’s a black and white just not in the mood for handling, they are pretty insecure about being mid air at the best of times and prefer to be held in close to your body feel secure

@@spotsandstripes2 oh, I know. I can agree to this. Goldens are on an entirely different behavioral stance. The smallest species of tegu, but the most aggressive. Many times they never become tame. For awhile mine was, but she switched up real quick when she turned 3 unfortunately

@@lindseysmith6651 yes they are pro active in defence, black and whites and reds are less confrontational..
I know what you mean about smallest but there are some tegus that are tiny, smaller than a beardie, just not common in the hobby there’s quite a few lizards that are tegus that people don’t generally know about 😆
