- In 2011 Bandai Japan kicked off the longest running Super Sentai Gimmick item to date, creating one of the most popular and represenative toyline for over 200 Ranger characters. Today we look back at every Japanese Ranger Key ever made.

The year is 2060, Gokaiger is still making ranger keys
What I love about the Ranger Keys is how personal it is compared with something such as the Sentai Gears. Yes, something with the teams are cool, but having something of the individual character is cooler. Hopefully, new keys will be made (hoping for Stacaesar and Hakaizer among the other teams that have not been made yet.
I'm frankly mildly surprised that they've never released any Kamen Rider keys outside of OOO, but I suppose if they did even just the main Riders then they might feel compelled or expected to cover other Riders too, and that could get out of hand real quickly
Let’s just hope they release a memorial edition legend said, so that way we can get the rest of the main team for all 45 seasons of super sentai.
When he was mentioning zenkaiger's key, an ad with people cheering started and this is the only time I find youtube ad not annoying :))

The ranger keys are by far my favorite collectible items yet. They put so much effort to produce every Ranger key up until Zenkaiger. My dream is to collect all of them, and with how many repeats and sets are out there, i have a lot of options

The ranger keys have always looked so cool but what always put me off from ever collecting all of them is how much itd cost at the end lol 😅 that said if they do a full kyuranger set it'd be a instant buy from me since I was never a fan of the vinyl figures and I just like how that team had all colors represented.
This may be the most Josh video you made yet. I enjoyed it! Ranger Keys are a great toy line. I remember being in Japan on my 21st birthday, I went to a recycle shop to find some toys, Japanese thrift stores always have great quality stuff, and I found a ball of plastic bubble wrap that contained an original mobirates and the first few ranger key sets for only about 10 dollars! They were in perfect condition too. They remain a special part of my collection!

It be really neat to see if they'd make keys for the rest of the Zenkaiger team. It be even neater to see how they'd make keys for the Donbrothers.

One way to have gotten Keys as part of the various ways, was bath powder sets, I got my Red Turbo and Red Flash Keys from these releases, the short of them is that they came with two packets of bath powder, and two Ranger Keys, one Gokaiger, and one other Ranger, but they're Gashapon style Keys where you have to apply the chest, black between the legs, and the key side designs.
So for example, Gokai Red came with Gosei Blue, Gokai Green came with Red Turbo, and so on, Fourze had something similar but with two Astro Switches, but I don't think they've kept doing this following both show's end.
As for my first Keys, they were the Goranger team and the ones which came with the Mobirates (Gokai Red, Shinken Red, and Go-On Red), I was so excited to finally get them and start my first Toku collection, which even to this day, is unfinished.
Mostly due to my collecting rule/idea being to get the Senshi who came back in person Gokaiger, the TV show and movies, and considering some are rare because of this and in some cases, being a popular character, I'm still a long way off.
Even then, I have also considered going back and getting those who returned for Gaoranger's & Boukenger's VS Super Sentai movies, so one day, I'll be done, until then, it's fun to see my Keys in my treasure chest box with my two Mobirates (one is the Legendary version) and Gokai Cellular, since I have a Key for every unique team announcement, barring the campaign/special sounds.
I don't think I ever even knew about the second Metal Hero set.

If the memorial sells well, I’m pretty sure they gonna release every single ranger key in memorial edition up until Zenkaiger,
I kinda hope so, but also don't for money sake lol
When, 10 years from now they release a 20th anniversary mobirates, I'd love for them to add some way of future-proofing them. Make new ranger keys for new teams, that have the key cut for "Special Ranger Key Yahoo", but add like a memory chip, and exposed pins to the bottom of the key, so the mobirates can read new sounds from the keys. That would be cool.
Also release more non-sentai keys, Rider, Metal Hero, other Ishinomori heroes.
And now even King-Ohger will have their own Ranger Keys!! This toyline just never dies haha
At this point I'm never surprised by a new Ranger Key release, no matter how many years it has been.
Great episode. I’m bracing for gokai silver and 6th ranger set announcement. Had to give up zap Megazord. But it’ll be worth it. I’d so like a nicer version of gokai silvers changer
I could never collect these, I'm a completist and the slight variants would drive me bananas, but if you got them all, oof, that would look wild

Ugh idk how to put pics off but I bought the gokai sword from my friend but he made it like legacy power sword he took the Japanese version and put likeva super hard foam..and it still functions I want to show u so bad bud
For Donbrothers keys, I have a idea if the Gokaigers use them, the black and pink suits would be spandex and not cgi.

To be entirely fair, they're a very niche, somewhat redundant set of releases that don't really contribute a whole bunch to the overall release schedule
