That was entertaining, you got good court speed/coverage and your forehand got a good bite to it. That guy you faced in the final was on another level (scary) but you put up a good fight and stayed with him. Keep it up..
Great playing. It looked like your opponent in the last match was gaining the advantage in those back-hand rallies by stepping in on every neutral ball. Might want to think about changing up the pattern earlier. You did a solid job of that with the point at 6:45 by slicing low to the forehand and committing.
Thanks. In hindsight I agree. My CC BH is one of my strongest shots, so I'm normally content in slugging it out BH to BH. The problem in this case, is that his CC BH was one of his strongest shots as well... better than mine.

Yep, very nice tennis and congrats for making the finals.
Nice points.
thanks
that stop volley @09:52
I thought I'd done enough to earn a forced error or maybe a ball he pops up, but he hit a winner instead
The guy in finals was a monster
Yes, he was quite a good player. He played for one of the top universities in the country when he was younger.
Nice point play. Did this guy from the 4th round win it?
Yes, it was the finals.
that's clay in the US right? I see you had some problems in the beginning with timing... but in the end you managed it well
Ya, it's in Massachusetts. The surface was very fast. It was very form with not much top-layer clay material
What NTPR rating is this? 5 or 5.5?
My official rating is 5.0. I can't speak to the ratings of my opponents, only UTR.
