- An updated version of a previous video.
"Ellens dritter Gesang" Also known as Ave Maria, was composed by Franz Schubert in 1825 as part of his Op. 52, a setting of seven songs from Walter Scott's popular narrative poem The Lady of the Lake, loosely translated into German.

True story, I’m Roman Catholic and the Hail Mary (Ave Maria) is very much a Catholic prayer. There was a girl in my class whose mother had a dream the night before she was born that a group of angels were singing this to her. The girl was subsequently called Ava Marie which is close enough not to be considered distasteful by other church goers.
