I worked for the RTC in Quebec City, I remember driving that vehicle a couple time before it got retired in 2008-9. For me the fun part of driving that bus was to see the smile and reaction of peoples when they saw that bus arrived at their stop.
That's very cool! Seeing articulated bus whenever in-service as possible was the best! I had seen both in service which is great as I only see one per day!
Oh i love thoses buses :) Of course alot of maintenance but what do you think it will be with the new ones the Nova LFS artic!!! They are bullshit... They will more costly than the classics...
wow these buses are unique they remind me of the novabus classics 40ft models that port authority had that is in Pittsburgh pa but however port authority never had these mci models

wow man. I love it when it goes from 1st to 2nd gear.
If the rear end is highway geared, I would think it is a 4.56:1 rather than the 5.38:1 that is suited toward common city traffic.

Yes, I'm aware of it, but thank you for the info.
It is an utter tragedy that RTC and Metro Transit never saved *one*.
New York should have had these. There's just something about these buses that screams NEW YORK !!!
Didn't only Quebec and Halifax order these?
Finn MacDonald Correct!

I live in quebec and I never seen this kind of bus....

Do you know if Quebec is going to be retiring all CLassics form service by 2012 like the STM?
Does anyone know how many CLassics are still in use with the RTC?
