- Hello everyone. Today I am sharing a sew along/tutorial for the keyhole blouse from Gertie's New Book for Better Sewing. Here I show you step by step how to make the blouse. I also start with a practise run on a bit of scrap to check the details. I think it is a really fun blouse and has some lovely details. It's turned out lovely Dianne. I wouldn't have looked twice at that pattern because I don't like vintage styles on me but it's a very wearable top. Thanks for doing the sew-a-long.
Hi Annette, yes sometimes things look better once they are made up, fabric can make a real difference too. I have had it work the other way in the past where I have loved a pattern but then made it and not liked it. It's one of those things. Have a good evening.
