All those autumn leaves make this park look so handsome. I love it when parks are integrated into the surrounding terrain and plant life. Like a forest with rollercoasters tucked inside. The European parks seem to do this so well.
Storm is pretty rough at a few spots but you can get used to it. It is a fun ride obviously but by far the best moment is the hang-time on the dive-loop after the 2nd launch. The last row is a must ride.
I think the last winter has taken a toll on thunder coaster. Thunder coaster is a lot rougher this year than what it was last summer. I loved storm. Yeah, it is a bit rough, but that airtime hill is so good!
Agree. It's got that gerstlauer rattle and it would be better without it, but I still had a ton of fun, it ended up being my favorite coaster there as it was more intense than Speed Monster and had some great airtime. Last row was pure fun! And yes, I wasn't too fond of Thunder Coaster as well this june.
My biggest surprise here is that you liked the food, Tusenfryd is infamous for terrible and expensive food xD Also, I've found Thunder Coaster to be rough and janky to the point of being un-enjoyable for the past few years, but it does have a pretty good layout.
I couldn't even pay for anything in the park with my Belgian bank card! And Thundercoaster was not worth a second ride for me. It's janky and loses enough speed towards the end to barely have any airtime. It has such an amazing location which is such a shame considering how bad it rides
Uncle Pepsi. I actually saw a guy in green RMC shirt when I went there last summer. Thundercoaster was re tracked not too many years ago, so I think it is a bit too soon, but I kind of hope that they’ll eventually RMC it. I just hope they keep that first airtime hill, and I actually really like that first drop as well. I think they should keep that too, just make the lift hill steeper, and a little taller. Start off with a small corkscrew in the first drop before it cuves in the style of the original and into that first airtime hill, I think something like that could be awesome.
Storm was great! It get mixed reviews because of it being rough, but i experimented a bit and found it only to be rought in the front half of the train. The last few seats at rear felt smooth to me. Also it has a lap bar, and gives this death anxiety and fear. My hands were literally shaking when i was to buy the picture afterwards. Defientely gets the blood pump going. It sure is very intense, and after the first run, i hesitated to do it again. I visited the park again 2 weeks later, and did 4 new runs. Then i realised this ride is actually fantastic!
Rode Storm yesterday. The roughness isn't bad at all in the back row. It's just a meh rattle. But the inversions are really intense and that hill gives ejector airtime 🤩
Important detail about the operations, yes they might run two trains but the crews are atrociously slow! No other park came close to what these guys were doing! So a train arrives at the station, the gates are still empty because you have to wait behind another gate in front of them. First they let everyone get out if the train and platform, then they let you enter the station and choose your row. Multiple seats stay empty because they're consistently terrible at counting. Then they wait another minute before you can board. Checking the restraints isn't fast either. The Vekoma family coaster lets you sit in the brakes for longer than the ride lasts because of its two trains! I've been a ride op myself and I know it's a hard job, but Tusenfryd showed me how bad and lazy operations can be! Upwards of 5 minutes for that Vekoma and Thundercoaster!
That's interesting, I didn't find storm to be rough at all! I hope we see another one of these with a much longer lay out pop up in the near future - I imagine it could be an inverted equivalent to Intamin's blitz model.
they have sorta fixed the roughness on storm, it still can be shaky someplaces but the back (which also is the best anyway) is not really rough at all, oh and the airtime is amazing.
I guess not. Every American I've talked to doesnt know about robot mowers at all, yet they're everywhere in Denmark where I live and have been for the last 10-15 years. Tivoli Gardens also has many with theirs using little bunny ears to make them look like rabbits.

Your wrong, milioners in (nok) kr in the way if the state gave us the money in the pension fund but the state can only take 4% of the profitt of the fund to invest every year in the state-budget
@@Uncle_pepsi True. I went there a few days ago while taking a DFDS minicruise from Copenhagen to Oslo and back. However ever since they changed its route to include a midnight stop in Frederikshavn, Denmark, it means you have about 2 hours less to spend in the Oslo area, making it hard to visit a place like Tusenfryd if you're doing a round trip on the boat.
@@drdewott9154 I was thinking of doing tusenfryd day 1 and then drive to either liseberg or fly to tivoli unless you are two people and one doesn’t care about being there early and since both of those parks are open until 11 pm they wouldn’t work well as day ones if you want to experience the park at night too
@@Uncle_pepsi True. There are also a few trains a day between Oslo and Gothenburg and several between Gothrnburg and Copenhagen. Though between Oslo and Gothenburg, the bus is actually faster due to the railway between the 2 being quite neglected. The Norwegian government is working on upgrading the line partially to high speed rail standards but it's very long term so until then, the bus is your best bet.

Always wanted to go to Norway. Also I saw one of those mowing roombas at Europa park when I was there!
You should come to Norway, it is so Beautiful here!🤩
I went there in 2013 and on that day it was glorious blue sky without a cloud in sight. It’s such a beautiful place.
Great review! I really enjoyed watching this!

For being new, the roughness is actually unforgivable in my eyes. It felt like a 20 year old coaster.
@@timdruyts5025 It wasn’t nearly as bad as Thundercoaster.

Thank you coaster studios for going to Tusenfryd! Norway needs more coaster content!
Love the trees here! Definitely must be beautiful coasting through that...

Been waiting for this review! This park looks great
Out of all the parks you have showcased in Europe, this is by far the coolest one so far. Def at much higher priority destination than the others.

Expensive food, yes- but the meal we had was good. Keep in mind that was the only meal we had so that's all we have to go off of.

English shouldn’t be a problem anywhere in Nordic Europe.
Would love to go back to Norway next summer - if I do, this park is on my list.
Definitely a park I would like to visit when going to that part of the world. Looked a bit cold, but beautiful with those trees.
What a beautiful park.
I’m going for my first time tomorrow!! Thanks for the tips

Glad you had a good time there 😊 keep it up
Great video man!
Don't you have "Roomba" lawnmowers in the states? Here in Sweden I see it in pretty much every other garden.
I guess not. Every American I've talked to doesnt know about robot mowers at all, yet they're everywhere in Denmark where I live and have been for the last 10-15 years. Tivoli Gardens also has many with theirs using little bunny ears to make them look like rabbits.
Kind of surprising considering how popular it is to have a lawn in the US.
Norwegians have some of the best English speakers in the world. It's amazing how many rock a "California accent" (thanks, television!).
Have you never heard about those automatic lawnmowers? I thought they were very popular everywhere but apparently not in the states.
the last few years it has been rly bad, but im glad that they have started upgrading stuff again!
What are your three favorite parks in coastin thru Europe season one. Also can you pls do a roast battle but for your top 25
Is the Thorpe park vlog coming after this
