This is a test video, and while I don't like the way everything looks, this is a good starting point. I probably need a better camera to use for the overhead, and the rest is just figuring out lighting and color grading if I want to make it look better. Overall it was a fun game, similar to what we normally see on fox, but it was nice to see a mostly solid player.

I like the physical board, and i thought your level of explanation of what you were thinking/aiming for was spot-on.
Thanks for letting me know! I still need to work on some things, but overall happy people seem to enjoy it.
While this camera setup is convenient, I think it isn't that good overall. Will try something else next time. Hope you enjoyed the game!
As always, many thanks for your great content and explanation of your thinking.
I really like the real format, just let me point out for this video that probably there is a fisheye lens or option in the camera which makes distortion in the image and it drives a bit off.
Thanks!
@@ArchitectGo88 yeah, that's why I want to try something else next time. Probably just my phone or something will work.
Very interesting one, thank you. As a kyu player, very helpful to hear the thought process and the emphasis on strength / weakness rather than territory.
That and I like much more this solid style rather than 3-3 and crazy invasions that seem popular xD
I’m currently Fox 2d and struggling to rank up. This series focusing on strength and weakness has been rubbing off on me and I’ve noticed my OTB games are feeling easier (and when I lose it’s almost always about not keeping the pressure, or making poor choices leading to many weak groups). Thanks Triton!
I am happy these have been useful for you!
Well played. Love the calm style and diplomatic approach. High praise to your hand model also. : )
@@stevekopp8635 hand models are more expensive then you would think.
I like the real board. It allows you to use your own paste with commentary and show all the variations straight away. You are also not limited with time to say what you think is needed to be said. This is a big advantage over the live games on fox. Live games though have some authentic emotions and probably encapsulated thought process while here it is imposible to destinguish between original ideas and review commentary.
Yeah I think both are useful in their own way. When I would watch reviews I learned from them fine, but live commentary helped me just as much so it was hard to say what was better.
Great content from you. There aren't many English baduk creators online so I'm very appreciative of you. Your videos have helped me cross into SDK. Keep up the great work!
Congrats on getting into SDK! I am happy to hear my content helped you out.
Prefer recorded games, but appreciate the time and effort made to relay the valuable review and observations to us low k players. !Gracias!
so calm and helpful, thank you!
I like the physical board. I know it's not as easy for you. But there's something about the sound and irregular alignment of the sones.
I really like a physical board for videos (or most things) better as well. My goal is to make more of these types of videos for sure!
I liked the real board :) feels slower than online videos with byo yomi. Also surprised that 2D player does not recognize this door shape, I thought that at this level all "basic" corner and side shapes tsumego were known. Very nice video, thanks for sharing :)
I think it’s more so that everyone “should” know, but not everyone does.
Very good. I got a lot out of your focus on keeping good shape rather than points. I liked the physical board
Do you use 110V or 220V for the hair? ;-)

Why the 3-3 at 24:32?
The board was mostly done so it’s better for endgame. If it was earlier I would likely play differently.
Do the real board while you play online and stream :D
I mean… it’s possible…
