Good review mate, I will be looking for a good quality lightweight down jacket for the Swiss Alps next summer, this could be the one ☝️ I will definitely check it out ATB Mark & Simon 👍
@@Twin_Peaks_Outdoors thanks guys, still got you in mind for a camp over winter perhaps in Wales? It’s been a good jacket, being Rab it’s on the premium side of things but just thought I’d review it as had it a while. I saw the solo sumiteer guy using it so that’s what made me get it.
@@AndrewHillis-k9l no I think you’d need something with larger baffles for -20 mountain equipment have a good jacket with larger baffles, as this is lightweight it’s not that thick, definitely wouldn’t advice -20 even with layering as the baffles aren’t that wide though it’s still very warm more -10 I would say but it’s best to ask Rab themselves, they may have upgraded the jacket I got it a few years ago.
Nicely read. My son has one of these, I pretty much had to peel it off him as he wouldn’t take it off he loved it that much.
@@itsallrobbish it’s a good jacket, it’s very warm but the fact it’s lightweight make a real difference in terms of getting it in a backpack!
Rab definitely make quality gear (beyond my pay grade unfortunately 😢)
But I did enjoy this review very well delivered 🤠👍
Best regards Simon
Thanks Simon, yeah it’s definitely premium. I have their downpour plus jacket which has these pit zips which are good. All quite expensive though
Good review
@@Useaname thanks appreciate that

Layer it with a good fleece and it can handle quite cold weather.
@@Art-is-craft yes I always wear a fleece with it most of the time with a merino wool base layer.
