You might own the 5 ton but anybody can rent dozens. And you should tell people you only participated.
Yes everyone I "participated" as the Official Off Road Recovery Company for UTV Takeover Utah since its inception, by request! What an honor.
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery participation award
Thanks Casey for having me out here with you guys I’m having a blast.
Casey is the only off road vehicle recovery videos I watch these days. He doesn’t need a half dozen crew members to get the job done.
But this entire video was him and a large crew of guys helping him pull people out lol
@@jesseleesamples That’s true. Due to the large scale of the event. Normally it’s only Casey and sometimes his wife. It’s not 2 or 3 vehicles with a large crew. Lol.
@@Userf451 He has people helping him all the time like anyone else and there’s nothing wrong with that
@@jesseleesamplesyou’re wrong and you know it. And you know exactly who Wayne is referring to. I’m in total agreement with him. Many of Casey’s recoveries are just him getting it done, all on his lonesome. Don’t be such a twaddle.
@@gungadingo This video was literally mostly people helping him and people help him in many videos lol there’s nothing wrong with that. Casey goes down in remote areas with a dozen people on horseback to do work sometimes and they help him and he helps them there’s nothing wrong with that. I’m not being the twaddle cause I’m not the one criticizing anyone
Great recoveries, I cannot still to this day see why people want to park in the sand. Thank you for sharing! 👌
Dang that was some work!
Glad I finally get to watch it on the big screen in it's entirety.. 👍👍
It always amazes me at how much crap people bring with them "camping". We are truly cursed with abundance, aren't we?
Most are not "campers" they are houses on wheels.
Well done Casey at first it looked like the five ton met it's match and you dug out the front end and moved the rope to the axle and pulled it right out.
Have a good weekend Casey! 👍👍👍
You know when you have to be towed in then you are at the mercy of the dozers when you want to leave. The things people go thru to have a good time are crazy at times.
Must get pretty busy, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Thank You. It is 16 hr days for the entire week
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery always better when you enjoy it, all the best
Casey, now that was educational and entertaining. Love the fleet of 5 tons your building. Nice team effort. Thanks for sharing, and stay safe.😊
If you know you know 😁
Wow Casey!! That was quite the recovery. You could tear that RV apart!!
Yes I could.
Big job!
Wow That was assome. That motor home pull was something to see. But I think Becky would of got it out on the first pull. Ha. Thank you Casey for all your hard work. So people can feel safe and enjoy this event. My God Bless you with health and Prosperity.
Thanks Mike, she probably would! He already has!
Man, that is a whole lot of stuck people! LOL!! I can't imagine how much money they would have had to shell out if it weren't for you guys!! You all are a great bunch of people to do what you do for other people!!!
You got that right!
Great job Casey and crew!
Casey it sounds like the new truck has an Allison…sweet
WOW
boy that sand is deep
That motorhome was f'd. Good job!
Yes it was!
I'll never understand why people crank the steering wheel hard the wrong way while getting pulled out. I guess some people just struggle with common sense.
People don't realize they are turning most of the time
Yup no steering feedback
Sense is not common.
The first thing anyone should do is lean out their window and check first
Better question is why didn’t they just air down and avoid being stuck in the first place?
Hard pull!
Your new trucks sounds so good. Can you make a sound track of it?
Casey, you guys should have one in the dozer or 5 ton, and another doing the driving of the towed truck. It seems like most of these drivers try to steer away from the pulling vehicle! Makes it harder t o get where they need to go!
RV's and sand aren't a great miv. But Casey and the crew will get them all out!
thems some bigO ropes 🇺🇸
Thanks for the entertainment, good content.. do you not get along with the morr crew? Yall are the closest "youtubers" to eachother doing recoveries on the same sand, but I never see yall on eachothers videos.. is there really that much business down there that yall never run into eachother? Just a thought, thanks again for being an honorable man, much love to you and yours
Casey did appear on a few earlier MORR videos, but that stopped after Casey put out a few videos. As you know, a lot of people have come and gone on the MORR channel. In fact, anyone interesting has gone. It's practically unwatchable now.
I've seen whats happening there.. its sad.. all we can do is pray that Father makes the scales fall off their eyes...
I do the lions share of the work, I rarely see them.
Well said lol
It's good to know that I am not the only one noticing the changes happening with the Morr crew.@@besetapart369
It’s amazing how many have no idea how to be towed! Always turning against the route the tower is going! Wish people have more brains than money!
NICE
Wish I was there
I will never understand why people take an RV offroad
To quote Tom Hanks stupid is as stupid does
@@joshuaparshall1409 I just don't know how they think that they won't get stuck.
They plan on getting stuck. 2000 rigs and we park em on every piece of available real estate.
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery Good thing you guys are there to pull them out.
because they think they can conquer anything with their overpriced grocery store bag haulers
Gee there are a lot of “sand experts” commenting here. As Casey mentions over and over it is an event at Sand Hollow. People volunteer tow mobile equipment and their time to move rigs in and out without chaos and wreckage. Seems simple enough…
All this for a multi million economic stimulus to our local economy.
Yeah, they can't seem to get it through their head that people KNOW it will be difficult but the heavy equip will be there to get them BOTH in and out. They don't show up thinking they'll just drive freely.
That looks like a lot of fun except the class A's they are no fun. Hope you stay safe and healthy.
Was your Camo-green 5-ton in good shape when you got it? or did you have to do repairs or changes? I think I remember your white one you got from the Fire dept. had real low hours, so was already in good shape when you got it.
Great condition, work ready. 26k miles
Thumbs up! @@CaseysOffRoadRecovery
Do either have an advantage over the other?@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery
One gets up the road better they both do great off-road.
Great video Casey, but doesn’t the 6x6 have full diff locks ?!
I don't believe so
I see so many types of vehicles, from 4x2 to 8x8 +, that would benefit so much if they had full lockers.
On the camo truck both 2 rears were spinning & 2 were barely doing anything.
Don’t know what the fronts were doing ‘coz couldn’t see them.
Does your white truck have any/full lockers & are single rears better than dually’s ? @@CaseysOffRoadRecovery
It may have limited slip, have to do more research, but it pulls like a boss.
The sand in that area is unique… very soft. There are no jagged edges on surfaces on the particles to inter lock.
Another military truck Casey ? AM General ?
Yes 923
What is the cost for a tow in tow out ? Or dose the event promoter pre pay to help everyone.
I think these guys do it gratis.
Volunteer. Tips
Compared to the M813 how do you like your 925?
Love em both
I would never take my motorhome in beach sand Most gas class A rvs only have 5000 lbs hitches and weigh around 20,000 lbs. Not Casey's fault the owners are foolish.
Amen.
Most big rvs have a lot more than that because most are pulling full size trucks and SUVs and double axle enclosed type car trailers so you are looking at least 12,000lbs working load on the hitches and breaking load of at least 20,000lbs
@@chrisclark7267 diesels maybe. Not gas motorhomes. My current diesel will pull 10,000 lbs. my previous gasser would only pull 5000 due to the frame extension that most have. That rv was a gas motorhome. Not many can pull more than a compact car.
Good time to get stuck lots of help around my motorhome does not do well in the sand.😀
Sand hollow, they tow them in and out. No place else to park but in the sand.
Buried that big RV
When you an Matt doing a next colab it used to be fun
Balls in his court
👍👍
Why don't they make it a parking lot? Asphalt or concrete? This seems ridiculous. Need all those dozers to pull them in and out? Not my idea of camping.
It's a off road culture thing. 30,000 acres and we use every square inch to park RVs on. It's not a city it's an off-road and recreation area.
Funny how everyone turns their wheel opposite of the direction they’re being towed. Also all these people think their vehicle can go where they want when in fact they don’t. See often in our local mountains. Just because you have four wheel drive doesn’t mean you can drive in snow or as crazy as you want.
Yup it will push the wheel opposite of the side you hook on. If we took time to use a bridle it would avoid the steering...
I don't own a RV, but if i did i sure as hell would never take it here
👍🏽👍🏽
Merica lol
No CCs for the deaf :(
Let me check on that.
That's what I say, wtf ae you doing in the sand.
Lmao. Why can't anyone follow directions.?? Its not hard people. Start listening an quit thinking y'all know every dam thing
Going somewhere where you know you are going to get stuck is absurd bit thats this generation
2000 rigs.
You see my son you pull him out charge him 3 times your regular price
^5
Serious example of more money than brains. Rigs not setup to accommodate conditions, pulling rvs'. What's wrong with that picture??? You're a better man than me. I would have pointed and laughed!!! Dude in the motor home, well, were drugs or alcohol involved??? Lmao
It is an event and they know they will need to be towed in and out that is why they have the trucks and dozer.
Like a comment already made, those hitches are designed to pull on pavement with wheels rolling. They're not designed to be pulled when the 20000 lb object is stuck.
If Matt from MORR was there, he could have double billed the insurance companies and made some cash. That's if it didn't violate the terms of his probation...
Hilarious!
It’s sad that the religious family is crooked and committed fraud multiple times. MORR is unsafe at any speed
