Wow Piet what a project, much admiration for how you get it done, I wroked pouring concrete in a100 free stall barn once and we wheel burrowed it all in. it was hard at the time, its a lot of work and you made it look easy, heel mooi gedaan.
You need to move the wrapped bales from the concrete and put them where you had the big snow drift PUT it in like snow fence or wind break plus it gives you more concrete space
Great job on the concrete work, will be interesting to see you the water flows in a decent rain.
Hopefully in the right direction!
Great job, looks like you poured few yards of concrete before. I'm impressed, seen a lot concrete poured in my life, grandpa and dad were finishers. It looks like you poured 6"+/-. It's going to be very valuable, no feed waste.
Thank you! Yes, this concrete is about 6" thick.
Great job! it's been a while since I've seen your videos. You do a great job running that farm. I wish you the best in continued operations.
Thank you!
Hi Piet. Greetings from the Netherlands. It must be a big relief for you to finnaly get a concrete slab for your silage. It will sure be a great addition to your operations especially in the winter and rainy days.
Heel veel succes en groetjes uit Rotterdam

do you think it is possible for a person to build a new dairy farm in the Dakotas today like you did and have a milk market ?
Currently the milk plants in our region are full, but several plants are expanding in the next few years. There will be opportunities in the future, I would think.
do you think building a new dairy farm would be profitable and a good business ?
I do, but that's not a question I could answer for anybody else.
