The TD is 10/5/-2/1 😅
Explorer and Saint from Latitude 64 is my favorit fairway drivers.
I would love to try the TD, Spur and Cicada!
The cicada is so good. I have a z and esp. Both do the exact same thing. This first version is very stiff (doesn't bug me too much) so I am looking forward to them getting the esp version a little more gummy.
My Maul, River, and Teebird would like a word 👊
Yeah, I agree with Maul and River (I don't have a Teebird so I can't agree with that but I'm sure it's also an excellent disc)! :)
Sold on the Brave. Wonder if it'll be a baby stag for my bag. Flight numbers sound 💰
I really wanted to like the cicada to join my roach and add another insect to the bag. But my crave flies straighter, flatter, and farther than cicada and feels better in my hand. Never should have doubted the Crave. I’ve got a royal supreme plastic grace I’ve been beating in for two years and it’s the one disc that I dread losing more than any other. Beat in so good and still getting better.
Sweet shirt🤘🏼
The TL is my fairway of choice, specifically a very stiff and slightly stable run from a few years ago. If I ever lost that one I'd immediately replace it with a Cicada. Those things are magical.
How's the brave vs the river? I love my opto river.
In my tests Brave was flippy, River is very flippy and Maul is a poor roller disc. It's been a bit windy here lately but I find all the mentioned discs too understable if there's wind. If you live in a windless place, go for it. For me something like Leopard 3 (Star), Soda (Steady) or FD (S-Line) might be better for that slot. The grand plastic is not that great compared to the others. I think Steady is superior because of grip, but YMMV. Essence (needs beat-in) or Diamond might also do what you're looking for - a bit faster, or perhaps Axiom Crave for a bit slower hand. Will be able to try Cicada and Passion soon. If you want a fun disc, Maverick (or Eagle) could be an option. Hawkeye is nice and straight too, TL3 if your hand is faster.
I love the cicada, just a little bit of hyzer and watch it fly straight 300 hundred feet
I purchased a factory second TL3 in Halo plastic recently to see if it could fill my straight fairway slot. I am working a major project right, so I have only been able to throw it once ... 353' dead straight ... no turn, no fade, about 15' off the ground. I think I found my woods fairway driver. I get similar distance from my Teebird3's, Firebirds, and Heats, so I think I finally filled this slot.
I have the same TL3 and it's my go to fairway disc. I also use it for anni shots it will hold its line and usually land flat.
You missed Jester discs Dream weaver and Clash discs Lotus! These are awesome
I bag the dream Weaver and love it!
man.. my friend got me to try the centurion. This thing is a leopard that actually flies like a leopard! It glides and BOMBS out of the box. People don't know what they are missing
Gateway Spear (BH) or Assassin (FH or Roller)
The jackelope should be in everyones bag.
Did innova piss you guys off or
In disc golf valley, 11 speed or lower is a fairway driver. Right or wrong , that’s how I think of it because disc golf valley led me to real disc golf.
I wouldn’t say Grand plastic lasts the test of time. It actually breaks in very fast but then holds it’s stability after that. Both my Grand Grace, Brave and Hope all broke in faster than any other premium plastic I’ve tried.
Agreed, if you use it or hit trees it can lose its brand new stability very quickly. But it then seems to keep at its now newfound stability for ages. I would say the benefits of the plastic are more so the feel, stiffness level etc than outright durability.
The zombee, Athena and eagle were missing
My Spur is definitely more stable than firebirds. I got a champ Firebird the other day and it may as well have been a roller disc.
Missed opportunity to include Paige Pierce’s new fairway driver. 😅
Dynamic discs maverick
Will they make me throw over 400'? 😅
I'll just grab them to find out.
Distance driver is 10 and above???? Glad to hear Trash Panda doing good things!
Well... there are 6-speeds from way back called "Maximum distance driver"... And the Valkyrie that Simon got his WR with is stamped Distance Driver as is the Firebird and Thundie. But the L64 Opto Pioneer and Saint are Fairway Drivers... what do you think of this jumbled mess? xD
Doomsday Blackout
LSD Spur is more like less good Raptor. Thoughts?
Yay =)
are you losing weight? looking a little trim.
Thanks bro! Working on it!
